'You know how they say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?' Kalika asks you. You nod, and she continues. 'That isn't always the case. Over here, you may meet creatures that will try to harm you. Oh, not on purpose. It is their natures to hunt. We will do our best to remind them that you are not prey.' She winks reassuringly at you, but you fail to be reassured.
You ask the pixies what all lives over here, and they both shrug. 'Numerous animals,' Rikale tells you. These are the carnivorous ones so, as much as we hate to, we must keep a full supply of game available. But there's really nothing more we can do, is there? It is impossible, as well as cruel, to try and change a creature's nature.' She shrugs again and continues her flight.
'Most of the animals will probably be in hiding anyway,' Kalika informs you. 'Also, lucky for you, there are very few living here.' You ask why large animals of prey would be living in a meadow, and Kalika chuckles. 'They hunt in the meadow. They live in the forest. That is why most of the field is fenced off for the unicorns.' You nod in understandment; it does make sense, considering the forest is so close.
Finally stopping, your two pixie guides turn to you. 'Right now, the only creatures you will be able to visit are the xypoids, wolf pack, and tevetti. Care to look?'
