Choking on the awful mist, you make your way north through the sickly yellow clouds. Dodging back and forth, you make your way around the bubbling pools. As relaxing as the dragons seem to find these, you doubt you would enjoy a swim in one. Squinting, you see an area before you that has very little steam and smoke in it. Wondering at this phenomenon, you approach the area slowly. In it you see a large, strange bird. Its feathers are blazing red and orange, like fire. It lets out a shriek and flaps its wings at you, nearly knocking you over with the force of wind.
'Indignation! Stop this at once!' Kalika orders crossly. Meekly, the bird obeys, still glaring at you. It sniffs.
:What is that doing in my home??:
'Don't try that tone of thought with me, laddy-buck. You were told that humans and other visitors would be through here, so don't even start!' The small blue pixie fumes and flies up before Indignation, right before his face, and continues to chastise him.
'Well then...' Rikale mutters to you. 'This is Indignation, our resident phoenix. So far he is the only one of his kind in our lands, but perhaps he will get company soon. You might want to watch out for his temper. He isn't called Indignation for no reason.' Rikale sighs, looking fondly at the giant bird.
:Humans, bah!: Indignation ruffles his feathers. Kalika continues to scowl. :Alright, alright,: he mutters. :I apologize for my behaviour, human. And I hope you enjoy your visit to our realm. Now can I get back to hunting?:
Kalika sighs and waves a hand. 'I don't care, just be polite, whatever you do!' Grumbling disgruntledly, the phoenix opens his monstrous wings and disappears into the fog.
