A Path in the Forest...
You follow Kalika and Rikale down the rightmost path in the forest. Birds chirp around you, and you breathe in the scents of growth through your nostrils. The pixies smile happily, seeing your obvious enjoyment of the forest around you. Kalika flies over and perches on your shoulder. 'So, are you enjoying yourself so far?' You nod vigourously, and Rikale giggles. 'Yes,' she says, 'it is beautiful out here. We were in great luck to find such a place for the creatures to live.'
You continue on your path, admiring the giant trees on either side of you. In the distance you see a great cave, the entrance opening like the maw of some giant monster. You hesitate, as it looks very dark in there. Silvery laughter floats into your ears as the pixies see your discomfort. Kalika grins at you and winks. 'Do not be afraid. There are lights inside the caves, provided by the dwarves. It does not get too dark,' Rikale assures you. 'And besides,' Kalika adds with a second wink, 'we'll be in there to protect you!'
