March
31, 2005 Hey, it's Tim's birthday so if you see him today shower him with cards and gifts! March 30, 2005
March 26, 2005 March 25, 2005 This past Sunday we worked on our Christmas silent movie/episode, "Ding A-Ling". Based on a Christmas comic/card that I did years ago, "Ding A-Ling" features our hero, Arlo Wazzo, as he becomes a charity bell ringer to earn money to buy Christmas gifts for his loved ones. We began filming this particular project last December. Due to the foibles of life, we didn't get a chance to resume filming until this past Sunday. As always the ever dependable Tim Richardson was behind the camera as he directed our talented cast of actors. Showing up for their close-ups were some of our regulars: Rob Richardson, T.J. Richardson, Chuck Williams, and Carol Richardson. Making his Funky Idiots debut was David Guiden. In my opinion, David is one of the best young actors in town. I had the pleasure of working with him in The Robber Bridegroom last year at the Muncie Civic and I'm so glad he was willing to participate in our latest Funky endeavor! Filming went smoothly and we got a lot of good footage. We filmed on campus at BSU (Right in front of the Cooper Science Building) and then we headed downtown. Walnut Street was practically deserted so it became the perfect background to film around. It was a fun yet cold shoot. As always, I can't wait to see how the show will turn out, but we have more filming yet to do before that happens. |
