WORLD OF OUTLAWS
Several wheel-to-wheel races highlighted action at the Warsaw Speedway Saturday night in what was very nearly a Leiter sweep. In the street stock division, Dick Leiter started in eighth place in the 10 car field, but came on strong to win. Another Leiter, this one Tom, passed John Orr with six laps to go to capture the hobby feature. But in the late model feature, it was a different story as Arden Leiter and Tom Beezley put on quite a show before Beezley ended up winning.
On Friday, the Speedway sponsored the "Outlaw" sprints for five heat races and a $2,000 feature. In the feature, Danny Smith of Danville, Il., led the first nine laps before Steve Kinser of Bloomington, In., took over. Kinser led until the final 12 laps when Bobby Allen of Hanover, Pa., grabbed - and held - the lead.

Four Fastest - Steve Smith (19), Bobby Allen (1a), Gary Patterson (3c)
    Heat #1 - Dick Liskai (6), Tom Beezley (113), Dean Pedrock (26)
    Heat #2 - Bernie Grayheal (93), Ron Fisher (84), John Naida (9)
    Heat #3 - Steve Kinser (11), Rick Ferkel (0), Bobby Allen (1a)
    Heat #4 - Fred Braronfield (92), Danny Smith (4), Fred Linder (55)
Feature - Bobby Allen (1a), Steve Kinser (11), Gary Patterson (3c)
