The Man in the Mirror

We spent a few years living out of state when I was growing up; we visited grandma for a few weeks in the summertime. I was 14 one visit home. Being an older house, there were added closets here or there, added space for a water heater etc. The bathroom, by far the coldest always damp part of the house, was at one time a bedroom. When the new shower and bathtub were put in the far corner there was left a space for a water heater. Grandpa built shelves on the top area so it could also be used as a small closet area. It to had no door but was covered with lace curtains. I was going through the phase where I would spend an hour applying make up, or fixing my hair. While using a curling iron in front of the mirror which provided me a view of the closet area, the curtains begin to blow as if there was wind coming through the room. As they blew back and forth it provided me a view of a rather tall man with dark hair, very pale wearing a white dress shirt and black pants. I froze for a second, dropped the curling iron, and ran into the other room. It took some convincing to get my sister to go back into the bathroom with me to pick the curling iron up off the floor and unplug it. Nothing was there when we went back into the bathroom to shut off the curling iron. I never stayed very long in the bathroom by myself anymore after that, on a visit to grandmas today, I just wait until I get home!
