When things are messed up at the heritage house it is blamed on Hector, an eight year old boy who now haunts the museum. Hector lived in Vernon and fell into a well drowning and lying there for three days before he was found. An employee reports the following encounters with Hector! "When working about two weeks ago I had just opened and went upstairs to turn on the lights and one of the beds looked like someone had been sleeping in it. I made it then I went downstairs and was typing a letter and the copy machine turned on and my touch lamp went off and on three or four times. I got up to turn off the copy machine and the computer switched to another program. Hector is there playing jokes on everyone and we all have our own story." Submitted January 04 by a visitor.
