What is Dragon Magick?

Dragon Magick is the calling upon of Dragons to aid you and become co-magicians with you. Dragon Magick can be practiced on its own or along with other Magickal Traditions. Dragon Magick is not for everyone. Those who practice Dragon Magic must be self-disciplined seekers who realize the potential dangers but dares to communicate with and befriend this vast astral power of the ages. It is for the Magician who is serious about changing his/her life and the living space around them.

When a Magician dances with Dragons ,as the practice of Dragon Magick is called, he/she discovers an intensity of power never before tapped. When tapped into this intensity is exhilarating and a Spiritual high. When you are befriended by Dragons as Co-magicians they can empower your rituals no matter what tradition you practice far beyond what you have normally encountered. Their grasp of ancient knowledge is deep and profound. Their ability to see through layers of time both present and past as well as the future is astounding and quite accurate if they choose to reveal what they see to you. As protectors during rituals or everyday life there are no equals. If you are chosen by Dragons under their tutelage you will have the opportunity of constantly learning an devolving your knowledge and magickal ability.
If you take the time to forge a friendship with Dragons they can become the best companions you would ever want. Although this companionship can seem to harsh and demanding it is always in your best interests. A lifelong dance with Dragons is never boring for it is a constant exploration of various types of energies and the uses in which these energies can be applied. Dancing with Dragons cane a joyful, daily experience and one that is eagerly sought after by all participants for the mutual sharing of energies during ritual as well as inline helps out both species in their evolution and spiritual growth. The more that Magicians seek out the companionship of Dragons, work with them, and earn their trust the more Dragons will be encouraged to once again have a closer ,positive relationship with humans in general just like they did in olden times.

Just like the old maps that had signs posted "Here Be Dragons" denoting unexplored regions of our world, at the very edges of our mental and psychic realms are signs that read "Here Be Dragons". The Magicians who are true explorers of the unknown and seekers of knowledge will be challenged not frightened by these signs and forge on ahead in their search of knowledge. They will forge friendships and partnerships with these Great and Powerful Astral Beings, known as Dragons, that will lead to some of the greatest discoveries ever made. May that journey be one of continuing interest and growth!

Dragon live still today, mayhap not to where you or I  can see them with the naked eye,
but upon a plane that exists on the astral level. What are dragons? Many cultures have different versions of them ,kinds, myths, colors styles. Big winged creatures with large heads, and scales . Usually portrayed as a reptile that blows fire out of its mouth the following is a few names you might recognize.
*Western Dragon ,Eastern Dragon ,Wyvern ,Hydra ,Penrose Dragon ,Amphiptere ,
Sea Serpent ,Ouroboros ,Amphisbaena ,Naga
In the western world "our word " Dragon comes from Greek darken, Latin's drake. Darken comes from a verb meaning "to see, to look at .The term dragonish used in many different fields over the years. Astrology, Astronomy, alchemy and even the world of dreams. In Astronomy Draco is in the northern heavens ,and curves in a pattern between the big dipper and Little dipper. It ends in a Dragons head, a trapezium of four stars.

So lets dabble a bit in the magick and see if we can help you meet your guardian dragon.

 

Dragon Magick
Dragons are wonderful supernatural beings. If you are patient ,you can entice a dragon to be a friend . The easiest to meet are the guardian dragons, they reconsidered the "baby" of the species. They are almost always supervise by one or more adult dragons, which you may or may not see .Depending upon your level of concentration. Or their desire to be seen. Dragons can be very mischievous creatures. But fret not to them its play not harm they are doing.
Little dragons are good for help with protection, love, friendship, divination psychic abilities, dancing, music, and general rituals. Their most important task, however, is protection of you, Once a dragon has chosen to be your guardian it becomes most essential to them to protect you above all else. These little personal dragons are the most friendly of their species and the most fun-loving. They enjoy impromptu rituals that include dancing, singing, and funning general. They like ginger ,spicy incense sweet scents attract them . They like to hang over your shoulder they are very in touch with you. if your a tarot reader or one from the runes. or even just reading a book, you might notice ones presence over your shoulder. If you have trouble visualizing your dragon, and you can fell them try putting a crystal to your third eye on your forehead.

You can burn a candle, any color except black as well as a spicy or sweet incense. Setout a few crystals to draw their attention and then say the following chant

Chant to Make Friends with Guardian Dragons
"Little dragons, rainbow bright, Good friends of this family, Send good wishes to us all.
Join our rituals merrily. Protect us through each day and night, While awake or while asleep.
Through your love and vigilance Do this family safely keep."

Not all dragons are of positive energy, Good and bad is not a term used around them, positive and negative. if you call upon a dragon for the power of the negative, you might not like what it is you call. The old age term, "careful what you wish for" applies here
As we stated earlier there are many types of dragons. Most do however follow the 5elements. Dragons will not permit themselves to be treated like pets, they will not tolerate it in the least. Dragons have been alive far longer than any of us, their knowledge and wisdom is sometimes unimaginable."
