So, now you see it, well, your invited to a house warming party!!
Let me give you a little rundown. Donna, Christopher and I have been
looking for a place in Old South London for quite some time. The last year and
a half we have become more serious to look for a place to call home. We've
been through Realty High's and Reality Low's and pretty well all the mixes in
between; for some reason we've found the house we knew we could be in.
The Closing date for us is May 21st, 2004 and we'll be moving in on the 22nd
leaving absolutely zero time to get anything in order to make a semblance of
a home. Home ownership is new to us, this is our first home and every day we
get near the dates, I get another chore to consider once we're in there.
The Honey Doo List is getting up there. Is this normal?! I'd figure we'd have
some time to ourselves to paint and caulk, time for re shingling the garage
and finish some touch's on the house roof, time for a proper cleaning of
every nook and cranny, time for a beverage and a chat with friends, time to
meet the neighbours and take in a few tidbits, time to have time.....But!
Sheesh! If we took time to do all that, we wouldn't have time to have people
over and celebrate our loving abode.
Sure it needs some work, but hey, that can come in time, my family and
friends are more important to us and we couldn't see our living in this shell
without you folks to come out and make it a home. It's a building! as you
see, but you are what will make it a home, full of loving memories and
laughs. Hopefelly not too many tears, but hey, all for the spirit of the
adventure!!?? OK?
I guess you can call it a house warming party, not really sure what that is,
myself, I just wanted to have some of the people over that have touched our
hearts over the years and we've been to see your progress in the world and
we'd just like to see you and say hi, learn a little of this new leaf we've
turned and share with us.
It would better said this will be a Heart Warming Party instead...
Please let us know if you can or aren't sure you may attend, an RSVP by
email will help us know how many trips to the store I must make and how much
overtime I could should work in order to give you a little refreshment and
snack when you arrive.

Anytime around 12:00pm would be nice, before of after, up to you, stay a
while, meets some of our family and friends, even have some fun too!!
I don't know if we'd be able to feed to lot, but, do expect that we won't
let you leave without offering at least something for you snack on. You are
most welcome to bring things that you might not find in a first home buyer's
home and you might need to make your visit a little more comfortable.
On the list might include : Potluck type foods and or dessert, Lawn Chairs,
Beverages over 0% ( please drink in moderation, this is a family event), an
outdoor game, or that certain thing you thought of that I didn't.
