In the UMP Modified Class it was exciting #7, Elvin Hershberger, picking up his second feature of the season at Montpelier and the big $1,000 prize for the special modified night of racing. Following Hershberger to the line was #E11 Daryl Herbert, #33G Davey Gant, #5H Jeremy Hines, #00R Tony Roland, #4S Doug St. Myers, #24H Steven Hogue, and #0TT Steven Ott, the top eight. The full field of cars had 5 heat races with the winners being Hines, Gant, Roland, Herbert, and #152 J.R. Ruefer. B-Main #1 was won by #43 Eric Morris with #82 Jeremy McDaniel in second, while #27 Tom Maley took B-Main #2 with #76 John Halsey in the runner-up position.
David Smith took home his 3rd Super Street feature of the year out of four races in his #05 machine showing he's definitely a force to contend with on the track. #22T Tony Anderson came across in a close second followed by #97 Mike Dunlap, #77 Chad Franks, #9 Jim Ninde, #15H Tony Homan, #16 Kip Van Skyock, and #38E Linda Lowe rounding out the top eight. Super Stock heat winners were Anderson and Homan.
In Street Stock action it was #77 Andy Bishopp taking the checkered flag and the win to pick up his 2nd Street Stock Feature of the season. #2 Kelly Mahoney and #17 David Norman finished second and third, followed by #2B Rick Basham, #CAN2 Jeff Hildebrant, #4 Greg Pierson, #60 Scott Wilson, and #56 Dusty McCollum in the top eight positions. Pierson, Bishopp, Basham, and Mahoney were all Street Stock heat winners, while #12R Tony Rector and #14 Josh Jacobs placed one and two for B-Main #1, and #28 Jim Ervin and #71 Larry Murray were 1st and 2nd in B-Main #2.
