Kraig Kinser of Bloomington, Indiana dominated the racing Saturday night in G.L.O.S.S. Outlaw winged sprint car competition at Montpelier Motor Speedway. The son of legendary sprint car driver Steve Kinser won both the regular A-Main as well as the make-up A-Main for the previously postponed July 6th race. In other action, Joe Mauller of Richmond won the Super Street feature for the second week in a row and Gas City's Andy Bishop captured the Street Stock feature.

In the first race of the evening, the July 6th make-up A-Main, Kinser bided his time in third place behind leader Todd Kelley of Russiaville and Fairmount's Boston Reid until he inherited the lead with 3 laps to go when Kelley and Reid were involved in a turn 4 accident which caused the race to be red flagged. On the restart, Kinser roared away from the rest of the field and held on for the win. Brandon Wimmer of Jonesboro finished second and Chad Blonde of Litchfield, Michigan came home in third.

In the regular A-Main, Kinser grabbed the lead twice from polesitter Brandon Wimmer only to have those leads nullified by yellow flags. Finally, Kinser got by Wimmer on the inside in turn 1 of lap 3 and he went on to lead the final 22 laps of the race. Dickie Gaines of Mitchell finished closely behind in second, followed by Chad Blonde in third. Fourth place finisher Boston Reid put on an incredible driving display after a mid-race spin had relegated him to the rear of the field.

Joe Mauller bolted into the lead with an inside move in turn 2 of the opening lap of the Super Street feature. Though Tony Homan of St. Marys, Ohio and Tony Anderson of Lima, Ohio challenged for the lead throughout much of the race, neither driver was able to get passed Mauller who edged Homan by a car-length for the victory. Anderson finished third and Marc Morris of Hartford City was fourth.

The Street Stock feature was a battle among three Grant County drivers: Andy Bishop, Jonesboro's Greg Pierson, and Marion's Glenn Bradley. Pierson led for the first 12 laps of the race with Bishop and Bradley alternating close behind in second and third. Bishop gained the lead when Pierson spun, and he led the final three laps of the race. Bradley finished second and David Norman of Bluffton was third.
