2004 2005 OCTOBER 8, 2005 The night started off with NEW Heavyweight Champion Tom Van Zant, with Big Jon Wall, in the ring. Tom said that since he’s the champion, he makes the rules, and there will be no NEW Heavyweight Title match tonight. This brought out Hillbilly Jed, dressed as the “old” Tom Van Zant complete with a paper belt over his shoulder since he considers Tom a paper champion. &3160As Tom and Wall attract Jed’s attention, The Soul Shooters – Apollo Star & Drew Johnson – came out and jumped Jed from behind. Tom proclaims that Jed would get a title shot, but it would be a NEW Tag Team Title shot against The Soul Shooters. The Soul Shooters continued their beat down of Jed until the locker room cleared to chase off the heels. The first match of the night was a 3-way pitting Ala Hussein against Donny Idol against Brian B. Hussein and Idol looked to double team Brian early in the match, but it was only a matter of time before greed took over and they turned on each other. Late in the match, Hussein went looking to super-plex on Idol off the top rope, but Brian came underneath and nailed Hussein with a power bomb as Hussein took Idol over for the super-plex. Soon after, Idol was sent flying off the apron after Brian was whipped into him by Hussein, and Brian was able to duck a Hussein clothesline and nail Hussein with a super kick to score the pinfall. Simply Marvelous – PT Hussla & Devon Fury – defeated Locked & Loaded – Rob Kincaid & Skip Raddison – when Hussla hit a top rope leg drop on Kincaid after Fury body slammed Kincaid to the mat. After the match, Hussla asked they were given two pieces of crap instead a Team Tam Title shot, and then said that they were going to take things into their own hands. Insanity Pro Wrestling Grand Champion “Simply Spectacular” Dave Davidson successfully defended his title against “Bad Boy” Bobby Black. Black attempted to use his speed and agility to overcome Davidson, but Davidson simply overpowered the smaller Black. After Black missed what would have been a second frog splash, Davidson was able to hit a spinning neck breaker off his shoulder on Black and score the pinfall. Next up was Chris Ikon’s new interview segment, which he described as “Piper’s Pit without a guy in a dress.” His guest was Don Pike, owner of Don’s Pizza & Pasta and sponsor of New Era Wrestling. When Ikon asked Pike who his favorite wrestler in NEW is, Pike responded by saying Damien Cole – Ikon’s former friend and partner. This brought Tom Van Zant and Big Jon Wall back out to the ring, both of which laughed in Pike’s face at his response. After Wall hit Pike with a Baldo Bomb, Damien Cole hit the ring and immediately went after Wall. However, Tom came in and nailed Cole with the NEW Heavyweight Title belt. After Cole had been beaten nearly unconscious by Tom and Wall, Tom told Cole that if he wanted a title shot, he would get it … right then and there. ɢAs Tom covered Cole, a referee came out and hesitantly counted the pin. Tom and Wall added insult to injury as Wall hit a Vader Bomb on Cole with a steel chair draped over Cole. This brought out new NEW Enforcer Blade. As acting commissioner, Blade said that he can whatever he wants, and tonight, he wants to settle some things. While Blade said that he’ll deal with Tom in the back, he put Wall in Hardcore Match, with tables, chairs, and barbed wire, later that night against NEW United States Champion Troy Van Zant. After the intermission, NEW Cruiserweight Champion Die Hard pinned Vortekz with a back piledriver (Die Hard had Vortekz on his back with Vortekz’s legs hooked under his arms and Vortekz’s between his legs and he dropped down) to retain his title. As The Soul Shooters came out for their Tag Team Title defense, they spotted a man dressed like Hillbilly Jed and started to beat down the man, assuming it was Jed’s chosen partner for the Tag Team Title match. As Jed came out to stop the beat down, he informed The Soul Shooters that the man wasn’t hit partner; his partner was Indiana Kidd Jr. As Jed hit a Samoan Drop on Star, Kidd mistakenly knocked out the referee with a clothesline that was intended for Johnson. After Johnson knocked Kidd out of the ring, The Soul Shooters were able hit Jed with their patented power bomb/west coast pop combination finisher, and as Johnson covered Jed, Star counted the pinfall with the referee’s lifeless hand. Assuming that his constituted a win, The Soul Shooters celebrated their victory until a second referee came out and informed them that they had not won the match. As The Soul Shooters argued with the second referee, Jed and Kidd came up from behind and rolled up both members of The Soul Shooters, and the second referee counted both pinfalls, making Hillbilly Jed and Indiana Kidd Jr. the new NEW Tag Team Champions. The Main Event of the night was a non-stop brawl with NEW United States Champion Troy Van Zant defending against Big Jon Wall, seconded by Tom Van Zant, in a Hardcore Match. Troy went right for the plunder on the outside, hitting Wall with a trash can, followed up by a drop kick in the corner on Wall with a street sign draped over Wall, busting Wall open. Wall would come back though, putting Troy through a slab of wood that Troy had set up in the corner and then dropping a big leg on Troy with a trash can lid draped over Troy’s face, busting Troy open. As Troy and Wall continued to beat on each other inside the ring, Tom went to the back and brought out a table wrapped in barbed wire and set it up at ring side. Troy looked to have Wall down for the count after destroying a guitar over his head, but luckily for Wall, Tom was there to break up the pinfall attempt. Wall looked to put an end to Troy with a power bomb off the ring apron to the barbed wire table below, but Troy rolled out of it and into the ring, where he nailed Wall with a spear, sending Wall off the ring apron and through the barbed wire laced table on the floor. Troy continued the attack with a steel chair and introduced a ladder into the match, but Wall would again regain the advantage, raking Troy’s face across the barbed wire on the floor. In the end, Wall was able to set up a table in the ring and drive Troy through it with a sidewalk slam, allowing him to score the pinfall and win the NEW United States Championship. Post match saw Troy try to continue the battle, but Wall and Tom were just too much for the fallen warrior, and the show ended with Troy a bloody mess on the mat. The only problem with this match was that I don’t think here was a camera there to record it as this was an excellent brawl and far and away the best match of the night. New Era Wrestling returns to the Shelbyville Civic Center on Saturday night, December 10 for a benefit show for the Salvation Army. KORONA BATTLE ROYAL Justin Tyme came out and said since Hillbilly Jed couldn't be contacted in two weeks. They has no choice but to strip Hillbilly Jed of the N.E.W. Heavyweight Title. The person that won the Battle Royal would become the new N.E.W. Heavyweight Champion. Tom Van Zant, Hardcore Harry and Big Jon Wall came out and Tom took the mic from Justin. He said that they was no need for the Battle Royal and told Justin Tyme to just hand him the belt. Tom took the belt and went to the turnbuckle to show off. Justin Tyme said The new N.E.W. Heavyweight Champion would be crowned at the end of the Battle Royal..... Then some of the wrestlers from the back came out to start the battle Royal. Wrestlers in the battle royal are: Enormous Alexander, Seth Clash, Diehard Dustin Lee, Brad Lamen, Indiana Kidd Jr., Tom Van Zant, Big Jon Wall, Chris Morris, ??masked wrestler??, Troy Van Zant, "Bad Boy" Bobby Black, Chris Ikon, Damian Cole. (if i missed any wrestlers sorry!!!!) The Final Four particapants in the Batlle Royal were: Big Jon Wall, Damian Cole, Troy Van Zant and Tom Van Zant. Troy Van Zant was elimanated first from the final four. Big Jon Wall next elimanated by Damian Cole. While the ref were tending to Big Jon Wall. Tom Van Zant was elimanted but Damian Cole but no refs saw it so Tom slipped back into the ring and elimanated Damian Cole. Making Tom Van Zant the winner. Justin Tyme came out and said that Tom Van Zant did win the battle Royal but he had to wrestle Damian Cole in the main event to see who would become the new N.E.W. Heavyweight Champion. Match 3 IPW Grand Championship Match VORTEX Def. SIMPLY SPECTACULAR. Simply Spectacular was counted out so the IPW Grand Championship did not change hands. Match 4 "BAD BOY" BOBBY BLACK, TROY VAN ZANT and SETH CLASH Def. CHRIS IKON, BRAD LAMEN, CHRIS MORRIS Match 5 Carlton Kaz Def. Enoumous Alexander Match 6 P.O.D. def. TOAD to become the new Micro Wrestling Champion!!!! Match 7 Big Jon Wall Cruiserweight Challenge Big Jon Wall Challenge anyone in the back to come and face him in a match. A masked wrestler came out. Big Jon Wall started wrestling the mask man. After beatin down the masked wrestler he called Hardcore Harry into the ring and let Harry do a move and then pin the guy for him....Then Jon challenge any other wrestlers...P.O.D. and Toad both came out and was distracting Big Jon Wall. Diehard Dustin Lee came out for the challenge. The match went back and forth. THE WINNER AND NEW N.E.W. CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION---DIEHARD DUSTIN LEE. Justin Tyme came out and and named an inforcer to N.E.W.!!!! The inforcer is none other than BLADE!!!!!!! Match 8 CRAZY J Def. LOTUS by submission Match 9 DAMIAN COLE -VS- TOM VAN ZANT During the match Hillbilly Jed came out and ended up becoming part of the match to crown the new N.E.W. Heavyweight Champion. Outside the ring Hillbilly Jed and Tom were wrestling outside the ring. Tom got busted open outside the ring. In the end Tom Vant won the title pinning Damian Cole. After he won and was holding the belt Hillbilly Jed did a Samoan drop on Tom and then set Tom up to get the Elbow Drop from the top rope from Damian Cole. Set for next month: 3 WAY FOR THE N.E.W. APRIL 23,2005 Before the first match was started Justin Tyme came out and was telling the fans about the main event. Loser wears a dress match. Then the IPW owner came out and said that he wanted the IPW Grand Championship back from Hillybilly Jed. That the championship belonged on Simply Spectacular not Hillybilly Jed. The IPW owner said that since it was the IPW belt on the line that he wanted the belt fought under IPW rules of NO DQ or countout and pinfalls count anywhere. Justin Tyme agreed on that but said since the match was taken place at an NEW show that the LOSER wear a DRESS is still on for the match. 1.) "SEXY" SHAWN COOK def. BILLY ROC 2.) TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH-- The champions Simply Marvelous -vs- Soul Shooters. THe match was a no content since one ref was knocked out in the ring and the second ref was shoved so the second ref called for the bell. both teams kept on fighting and still fought into the back. 3.) TOM VAN ZANT def. TONY CALLOWAY After the match Tom continued the assult on Tony. Bobby Black came out to stop him and to get back at Tom for last week. Then BIG JON WALL came out and helped Tom. But Tom and Big Jon Wall got the upperhand on Bobby. Troy Van Zant came out to help Bobby and then later Tom and Jon got the upperhand on Troy as well. 4.)CRAZY J def. BIG CHEEZE by submission. 5.)Justin Tyme came out and said that the Damian Cole -vs- Chris Ikon match would not happen since Damian Cole had a broken hand. But Damian said the match could still go on but he had a replacement. But before he could say who it was Chris Ikon came out. Damian said if it was ok with Justin Tyme Chris Ikon opponent would be The U.S. champion Troy Van Zant. The match went back and forth til the ref was knocked out and Chris Ikon went and grabbed Troy championship belt but before he could use the belt on Troy, Damian Cole came out and did a fireball into Chris Ikon face. Troy took the opportunity to pin Chris Ikon for the win. 6.) FATAL FOUR WAY ELIMANATION MATCH---CARLTON KAZ -VS- INDIANA KIDD JR. -VS- VORTEX -VS- LOTUS 1ST ELIMANATED----VORTEX 2ND ELIMANATED----INDIANA KIDD JR. 3RD ELIMANATED----CARLTON KAZ WINNER- LOTUS After the match Crazy J attached Lotus. He put Lotus in an ankle lock over and over again even after refs got him off Lotus. 7.) LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH------BIG JON WALL DEF. "BAD BOY" BOBBY BLACK 8.) IPW GRAND CHAPIONSHIP MATCH ALSO A LOSER WEARS A DRESS MATCH The match went back on forth. Tables and chairs were used during the match. Hillbilly Jed did a swanton onto Simply who was on a table. Jed went for the pin the ref counted 1,2, but the ref was pulled out by the IPW owner and while the ref was distracted Tom Van Zant came out and took the horseshoe from Jed valet and shoved her down. Tom went into the ring and hit Jed with the horseshoe causing Jed to lose the match. After the match Tom attacked Jed. Big Jon Wall joined in. Troy Vant Zant came out to help Jed. But they got the upperhand on Troy. Bobby came out to help Troy. But they beat Bobby down to. Justin Tyme came out and said that this was still NEW and that he wanted to fight the IPW OWNER so Justin got one good hit in when TOM and BIG JON WALL held JUSTIN the ipw owner was mouthing Justin and was mouthing him in the corner when................. All of the sudden music hit and out came BLADE to help out JED, TROY, and BOBBY and JUSTIN. Blade cleaned house. Justin got on the mic and said I told you I had a surprise to TOM and JON. Then he said he was making a match for next month it will be a tag team match of Tom Van Zant, Big Jon Wall and Simply Spectacular -vs- Troy Van Zant, Bobby Black and Hillbilly Jed and that the special referee will be none other than BLADE. Then the IPW owner came out and said that since Jed lost the match that he had to put on the dress. He waited on the apron waiting for Jed to put on the dress. Jed said he was a man of his word so he put on the dress. but then they brought the IPW owner in the ring Jed did a samoan drop on him and then they put the dress on him. When the IPW owner finally came too he stood up and saw that he was wearing the dress he tore it off and was mad. March 12, 2005 TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH SIMPLY MARVELOUS DEFEATED THE SOUL SHOOTER U.S. TITLE MATCH TROY VAN ZANT DEFEATED ??CORONA??? VORTEX DEFEATED DIEHARD SHARK BOY DEFEATED CARLTON KAZ LOTUS DEFEATED CRAZY J LOSER GET LASHED 10 TIMES BY A KENDO STICK CHRIS IKON DEFEATED DAMIAN COLE. IKON GAVE DAMIAN COLE 5 LASHES WITH ONE KENDO STICK AND USED A SECOND KENDO STICK TO FINISH THE TEN LASHES. AFTER THE LASHES DAMIAN COLE WALKED TO THE BACK ON HIS OWN. BIG JON WALL -N- APOCALIPZ DEFEATED TOM VAN ZANT -N- "BAD BOY" BOBBY BLACK. After the match it looked like Tom was blaming Bobby for the match. But they hug then while Tom and Bobby were back to back Tom kicked his leg backwards low blowing Bobby Black from behind. Then Tom attacked Bobby. A few wrestler tried to stop Tom but only got thrown from the ring. Tom then went and got a chair. Attacking Bobby with the chair and busting open the back of Bobby head and his forhead. When Tom was about to do a Con-Chair-to to Bobby Troy Van Zant came out and took the chair and ask what the heck was Tom doing. Tom left the ring still mad. Bobby laid in the ring all bloody. IPW GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP -N- NEW ERA WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH HILLBILLY JED DEFEATED SIMPLY SPECTACULAR After the match Simply was mad and wined til Jed offered to have another title match with him on April 23, 2005 but the loser of that Championships match would have to wear a dress. 1/29/05 Battle Royal---10 participants went in.  The winner new comer Brother Clay. U.S. Title Match   Troy Van Zant def. Vortex After that match Troy extended his hand to Vortex to shake.  Vortex shook his hand in good sportsmanship. Damien Cole def. Chris Ikon Chris Ikon was disqualified after throwing the ref out of the ring.  Then Ikon went and got his kendo stick and swung it and Cole but Cole ducked and did a Damian Cutter  on Ikon.  Cole got on the mic and said for the next show for Ikon to bring the kendo stick and hang it high for a match. TNA Sharkboy def.  Karlton Kaz and the Indiana Kidd Jr. Sharkboy did his finishing move on Karlton Kaz.  After the match Sharkboy and Indiana Kidd Jr. shook hands and Indiana Kidd raised Sharkboy hand in victory. Simply Marvelous came out and introduced themselves and then their Mystery Oppenents came out for a Non-Title Match but who was it.  It was Former NEW Heavyweight Champion  "Poison" Apollo Star and The Soul Shooter Drew Johnson.   After trying their best Simply Marvelous did not overcome the new tag team in NEW. WINNER-----The Soul Shooters Big Jon Wall def. Tom Van Zant  in the first of three cage matches after the assist from Big Jon manger Hardcore Harry who brought in the chair to help Big Jon Wall overcome Tom Van Zant.  Big Jon Wall became the #1 contender for the NEW Heavyweight Title. Title -vs- Title Match NEW Heavyweight Title & IPW Grand Champion Title Hillbilly Jed def. Simply Spectacular Jed did a swanton Bomb from the top rope.  Both men were bloody during and after the match.  FATAL FOUR WAY CAGE MATCH FOR THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE CLIFTON CRUNK -vs-LOTUS -vs-CRAZY J -vs- "BAD BOY" BOBBY BLACK Fatal Four-way elimanation match for the cruiserweight Title in a steel cage match.  After Bobby Black was going around the ring to smack all the fans hands Crazy J got mad and attached him behind before even entering the ring.  Then Clifton Crunk came out and started attacking Bobby Black too.  Lotus tried to come out to help but was beat with the steel door from the outside finally all the rest of the cruiserwieght came out and tried to get all the cruiserweight back into the ring for the match.  Out of Nowhere from the Top of the cage LOTUS did a Backflip onto all the cruiserweight from the Match and the ones from the back.  First Elimanated-LOTUS Second Elimanated-CRAZY J The Final two were Clifton Crunk and Bobby Black. After back and forth Bobby Black won the match after doing a Frog Splash off the top off the cage onto Clifton Crunk to become The new NEW Cruiserweight Champion.
