Granny White Cemetery Leesville, Indiana
The cemetery is located in Leesville, Guthrie Township, Lawrence County, Indiana on private property. In September 2006 the Jesse B. and William B. Hill Family Association, along with several other local volunteers, visited this cemetery to clean and repair the stones, at that time we took pictures of most of the stones present in the cemetery. Using a list posted at Interment.net by Jackie Owen who had visited the cemetery back in 1999, her list I believe was created from the book " Lawrence County, Indiana, cemetery records / compiled by Indiana Junior Historical Society, Bedford-North Lawrence History Hunters, Stalker School Little Hoosiers," we attempted to check the stones with the list. I have listed the original info and have posted notes of alternate or new information. Most stones that state that a picture was not taken are still present, but because it was thought that they would not show anything except a blank stone they were not pictured. Thanks. Shelley Hill
