CAR WASH
Yes, you do need to wash your car to keep it clean. You can
either do that yourself or go to some car station and they'll do it for you
(!). You'll need to wash your 206 quite often to remove dirt and debris that
can stick on the body work and damage it. Here I can cite, bird excretions
that contain acid (BAD). Also, wash your car every time you park it next to
the sea as the wind on the beach contains salt water which will corrode
your car.
POLISHING
Polishing your car is one of the most important things you
could do to the body of your 206. Not only does polish keep your car shiny,
but polishing create a thin transparent film on your car that helps protect
the paint from corrosion by, say, salt water, acid rain and so on. So make
sure you polish your car often. Some car polish can also be used on glass, so
polish the windows, and lights too.
For those of you who are wondering on how to polish their cars, well, you
could read the instructions on the bottle or... Ahem, wash and dry your car,
apply polish using a cloth with circular movements; (this can get quite
tiresome and boring). Allow it to dry, then remove using another dry cloth.
