This is a picture of Tom Bruhn getting ready to pull this wagon out of storage. He found this wagon body sitting behind a barn in Danville IN. Unfortanantly it had been sitting for some time, both the main leafs were broke, and it was pretty rusted out
Tom Gave this Wagon to Jeff to run for free. This is before Jeff ran this car at the Marion County fair in 1999. The drivetrain was out of Jeff's feature winning impala he ran in 1997. That is Ed Dwire under the hood, and Tom Buhn Next to the car.
This is a picure after the derby. He ended up advancing out of his heat fairly easily, but it had allready started bellying out.
In the finals Jeff was doing well, but the car was folding fast. It got down to the final 5 cars Jeff, and 4 guys from a rival team. They all started pounding on Jeff. He took it for a while but finally the belly just got to low and he was no longer able to move. He ended up placing 5th in the feature.
