The Navitity

Luke 1-2

A young woman named Mary was engaged to a carpenter named Joseph.  An angel told  Mary she would have God’s Son and to name him Jesus.  Mary said, “I love God.  I will honor his wishes and do whatever he asks.”  Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem.  When they arrived, all the rooms were full so they stayed in a stable.  That night, the baby was born.  He was God’s son and they named him Jesus.  Angels appeared to the shepherds watching over their sheep.  The angels told the shepherds to follow a bright star and they  would find the newborn savior asleep in a manger.
