Feeding 5,000

Luke 9

One day, five thousand people came to see Jesus.  As it began to get dark, the
desciples said, “We must send these people home.”  But Jesus said, “you must
feed them.”  The disciples asked, “How can we feed  these people?  We found
only one little boy who has food.  He will share his five loaves of bread and two
fish.  But that is not enough to feed everyone.”  Jesus took the fish and bread,
and he thanked God for all the food.  Then, he told the disciples to share it with
the people.  Everyone ate until they were full.  Now they truly believed that Jesus
was the Son of God.
