Josiah

2kings 22-23

One day a new king named Josiah came into power.  He was only eight years old.  As Josiah grew older, he became a good ruler for his people.  He loved and worshippedGod.  When Josiah was 26 years old, he made repairs to the temple where  people went to pray.  A priest working at the temple discovered a copy of the Book of Law.  Josiah asked a wise woman to read the Book of Law.  After reading it, she said, “God is unhappy with the kings who worship idols.”  Josiah told the people to Worship God and obey his laws.  So God blessed Josiah and his people while he was king.
