We met while I lived in Phoenix,
seemes like a century ago.
You wanted to see a pics,
so onto you, I let one flow.

Was than you wanted to meet,
with hopes to start anew.
My heart took a forward leap,
Love for you, it only grew.

Than stories and time, took its toll,
my heart it fell like lead.
My heart strings, I had to recoil,
and homeward I slid.

Just to meet up again,
another name, another face.
A newer picture I did send,
and lost you again, without a trace.

This time it wasn't Phoenix,
or who, I know back than.
My soul took another fix,
of the love you had to send.
