WHAT'S NEW

Acoustic Mayhem spent a few memorable days in Halifax last week to see the amazing Summersault Concert. Our favorites of the day included Treble Charger, A Perfect Circle, and Foo Fighters (Dave Grohl looked at Jen!). We will definitely be back to see it next year. We would also like to extend a thank you to Carly Wynn for baking us a cake in celebration of the 4th annual 24-7 day.

Ok, I've finally brought myself to do it. I'm gonna update. I've been avoiding because I didn't want to face the inevitable, but it's gotta happen. I'm updating the bios! It's a big step for me! About the band: we're working on a few super-secret selections for the next coffeehouse. Dates will be posted later.

~~*~~Since the disaterous Coffee House incident (Jen not knowing the notes or the words!), Loretta made an astounding comeback. Loretta stole the show as the entertainment for the NGHS Witner Carnival pageant on recently, and will be performing at the coffee house on December 22, which is also her 17th birthday, so if anyone sees her, but sure to wish her a happy birthday! Jen will not be singing for awhile due to a nasty case of laryngitis, which for some reason won't go away
Ok, long time no updates huh? Well, my deepest apologies. My computer was broken for a long time and things kind of slowed down. However, another coffeehouse is coming up soon. Info will be posted as soon as possible.

You may have seen Matt Harpell and Matt Frizzell of Herb downtown last week, playing a couple acoustic arrangements minus their drummer. If not, don't miss their next one, happening Thursday, July 22 at 1:00pm, downtown NG!

The WoodRockfest held at NGHS was a great success (so I hear). You can catch some of the featured bands in the upcoming Canada Day celebrations at the Riverfront, June 30th.

Acoustic Mayhem do not have any shows planned, but HERB will be playing at the (Wood)Rockfest. This event features many bands in the Pictou county area: rumblefish, viagra, interium, and our fav: Mr. McDowell. This takes place June 2. Go check it out!

~Acoustic Mayhem may be coming to a town close to you! We'll be on a band trip on Moncton on May 20-21.
