Where would you draw the line between erotic art and pornography?

yeah, always interesting this subject!

I have to think about it daily at the time actually, because I'm just preparing a book called "Mein schwules Auge" ("My gay eye i.e. view")- there's already a series of books out called "Mein schwules Auge" (My secret eye..."- the heterosexual issue)- which contains romantic, erotic, pornografic stories, paintings, drawings and photography of several artists! It goes like this: "normal/ ordinary" people and people who deal with art professionally send in their things to the publisher and she prints it once a year- so its a pretty wild mixture... This mixture is one interesting thing! The other is, that you have completely different views on erotic and pornography- and especially the privately taken (without any artistical demand???) (the other big question: whats art and whats not????) picture sometimes is much more imressive and pure! Some of the images in these books show everything- they are in the common sense, from the moral point of view- (cheap??) pornography!! JUST because they are printed in an arty content, they are allowed to be printed!! And that from my point of view ridiculos!!!!!! I think, sexuality is important part of human existance- and I really can't understand the fuss thats made about "pornography" Should'nt the only aspect of valuing the whole thing be, that rights of the persons who are involved are not injured??? I would't even say, that children should be "protected" from a knowledge about pornography: They are expected to see war und riot on TV each day! But to have a knowledge about, that the penis of a man can erect and later on could possibly put into a vagina (or other places)- and that this can not only make babies but can cause LUST as well- thats obviously to dangourous for them!!!!

That much about my opinion!
Concerning MY pictures: I'm not that interested in taking photos with explicit pornografic images, at least not in presentation of genitals! For me the difference of the so called cheap porn to art is very thin! I would never ever use the words better and worse in that content. I personally try to create intimate situations! Eyes and face expression are more important to the effect of a photo than a perfect body- at least thats my opoinion! And its gotta be still natural in a way- I've changed my style into that direction over the last two years I think.
