Graham High School Cafeteria

Introduction
[The 486 fans packed into Graham High School Cafeteria are on their feet and cheering as "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains blares over the speakers, signifying the beginning of Riptide! Harvey Schultz walks out from the back, immediately followed by an attractive, thin brunette. The two take their positions at the commentating table as the music cuts out.]

Harvey Schultz:: Welcome to those of you watching on public access Channel 77, to Thursday Night Riptide! We would be coming to you live from KTVZ 12, except the unthinkable happened last week.

Regina Cormier:: Due to Pyro-Maniac's actions last week, I'll be filling in for J.J. Jackson tonight.

Harvey Schultz: Yes, this is Regina Cormier, daughter of AWA owner Richard Cormier. I've been told that Richard is going to be here tonight, and he's got an important announcement to make. I'm betting there's gonna be some sort of retribution towards NyGhtMaRe for his horrific actions last week.

Regina Cormier:: Yes, after what he did to my daddy, he's gonna have hell to pay!

Harvey Schultz:: Tonight, we've got an all-star card coming your way. Let's get ready for our first match, which features two newcomers to the AWA.
Standard Match:
Billy Suggs vs. Rusty
["Dead and Bloated" by Stone Temple Pilots starts up as "The Backwoods Barracuda" Billy Suggs makes his way into the cafeteria. Suggs struts down to the ring with a confident swagger, but it's not long before an unpleasant chant starts up.]

Crowd:: Dumbass! Dumbass! Dumbass!

[Suggs looks around for a moment, then looks behind him, still trying to figure out who the fans are calling a "dumbass". Puzzled, Suggs simly shrugs his shoulders, then climbs into the ring. One of the stage hands tosses Suggs a microphone as "The Backwoods Barracuda" takes off his camo vest.]

Billy Suggs:: Who the hell do you think you are, Rusty Ziset? I saw your little bullsh*t act at the school. Beating on little school children? That's pathetic! You're not a real man like me. Real men can kill fifty vagrants in a bar, with nothing but a toothpick and a roll of dental floss...like me!.

[Suggs begins drifting off into a story.]

Billy Suggs:: Fu*k, man, that was crazy. These fu*king crazy hobos getting all in my face, trying to start sh*t, saying sh*t like "Hey little boy, gotta quarter?" Well I mighta given in if I were a nine year old kid, but fu*k, I was a ten year old manbeast in the prime of my life. I fu*king ripped a toothpick from this one bum's mouth and stabbed 25 of them sons of bitches right through their hearts. Then, with my trusty waxed dental floss, I hung the other twenty-odd fu*kers from the ceiling. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu**********kkk, man, that was crazy.

[Suggs drifts back into reality.]

Billy Suggs:: Rusty, I don't even need a fu*king toothpick for you. I'm gonna...

[Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" interrupts Suggs, infuriating him. The crowd begins to cheer, not so much for Rusty as they are for him having shut Suggs up. Russell Ziset walks out to the ring in his sweatshirt and shorts as the Don hobbles out behind him with his water mug in hand.]

Regina Cormier:: This Rusty fellow doesn't look like he should even be in the ring. How big is he?

Harvey Schultz:: Five foot nothing, one hundred pounds.

[Rusty immediately gets right into the face of Suggs, who is a good sixteen inches taller than him. Rusty begins talking trash to Suggs, and Rusty's crossed eyes and crooked nose aren't helping matters any.]

Rusty:: You know, Bill, you're a weak link. When you come out here and tell those ridiculous stories, you're letting down your fellow superstars in the AWA. To tell you the truth, I look down upon you as a person.

[Having heard enough, Suggs levels Ziset with a big right hand. Referee Horton calls for the bell, and the match begins.]

Regina Cormier:: You know, Ziset is at a huge disadvantage here.

Harvey Schultz:: Yes, but he's going to be at a disadvantage no matter who he's going against. He's the smallest wrestler I've ever seen in all my years in the industry.

[Suggs begins to pummel Rusty as the Don watches on from ringside, sipping from his water mug occasionally. "The Backwoods Barracuda" continues to hammer away on the back of Rusty, but Ziset shoots forward and takes Suggs to the ground with a double-leg takedown. Ziset uses his speed to spin around on top of his grounded opponent before locking on a headlock. Ziset releases the hold and attempts to pin his opponent. 1..kickout! Suggs tries to roll to his stomach, but Ziset grabs him by the love handle and pulls him over onto his back again. 1...2.kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: This is surprising. Ziset is actually taking it to him.

The Don:: Absolutely, Rusty, absolutely.

[Suggs regains a vertical base and shoves Rusty off into the ropes. Rusty rebounds off the ropes, but is hurled through the air with a back body drop. Rusty is slow to his feet, but Billy Suggs quickly takes him back to the ground with a DDT and a cover. 1...2...kickout!]

Regina Cormier:: Oh, that was close. Suggs almost got the pinfall victory there.

Harvey Schultz:: Allow me to remind you all, if Richard Cormier doesn't like Suggs' performance here tonight, he doesn't get a contract with the AWA.

[Suggs lifts Ziset back to his feet, complains to the referee about Bonaducci, distracting the ref, then nails Rusty with a low blow. Rusty doubles over as Suggs bounces off the ropes and hits the Fish Hook. Billy makes the cover. 1...2...kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: Barely...

[Ziset crawls to the ropes as the Don begins yelling at Suggs.]

The Don:: Do you want to know what your pacific problem is, Suggs? Well that's irrevelant! Did Teddy Roos-velt need pacifics when he was storming Germany?! No! It was a war!!! And by God, he won that war!!!

[Suggs and Mitch Horton stand staring, mouthes agape, at the complete idiocy of the Don. While this is going on, Rusty takes the opportunity to remove the padding from the top turnbuckle. Rusty takes a moment to catch his breath as he waits for Suggs to turn around. Suggs slowly turns around, still slightly dumbfounded by what he's just heard. Rusty sprints towards Suggs, grabs him by the back of the head, and slams his head into the exposed turnbuckle bolt!]

Harvey Schultz:: The Run-By!

[Rusty makes the cover as a man runs out from the back dressed in camoflauge fatigues. 1...2...the man attacks Rusty to break up the count. Referee Mitch Horton calls for the bell to disqualify Suggs, but the man in the camo fatigues shoves him out of the ring.]

Harvey Schultz:: That...that's Jerry Verboncour! I didn't know Cormier had already given him a contract.

Regina Cormier:: Uh, he hasn't...

[Verboncour slides out of the ring and decks Donald Bonaducci, knocking the overweight man to the ground. Rusty begins pounding away on Suggs inside the ring, but Jerry is quickly back inside the ring to break up the assault. The crowd begins to boo as Jerry shoves Rusty into the corner and starts laying into him with a series of boots to the mid-section. Rusty headbutts Verb. in the nose, then fires back with several rights and lefts.]

Harvey Schultz:: This is amazing. Rusty is holding his own against these two men.

[Rusty has Verboncour reeling, but turns around right into a diving clothesline from Suggs. Verboncour and Suggs begin to hammer away on Rusty before Suggs locks in the Golden Sunset and slowly chokes him out. Veboncour hops up onto the second ropes and connects on the unconscious Rusty with a legdrop. Verboncour and Suggs roll out of the ring and exit the building to a chorus of boos.]
Triple Threat Match:
HaZe vs. Pyro-Maniac vs. Pest
Atlantic Championship
["With You" by Linkin Park starts up as a bandage up Pest comes out, minus Perfection. The fans cheer as Mr. Showtime climbs into the ring, removes his stylish hat, and awaits his opponents.]

Harvey Schultz:: Pest has a big score to settle with Pyro-Maniac. Last week, Pyro cost him his shot at the Heavyweight Title.

Regina Cormier:: Not only that, he attacked both Pest and Perfection with a flaming steel chair!

["Bodies" by Drowning Pool starts up as Pyro-Maniac walks out from the back to heavy booing. Pyro simply smiles as a few of the fans hurl empty sodas cups at him. Pest doesn't even let him get into the ring as Pest launches himself over the top rope and connects with a flying cross-body block on the outside of the ring. The two men begin scuffling around on the arena floor, but Pest gets the upper hand and throws Pyro into the ring post.]

Harvey Schultz:: Pest is getting some much wanted revenge right now.

["Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music starts up and HaZe makes his way out from the back with a barely noticable limp and his book tucked under his right arm. The crowd boos the Enlightened One, but he pays them no mind and climbs into the ring. Pest continues to punish Pyro-Maniac on the outside of the ring as Referee Perry Daton calls for the bell to start the match.]

Regina Cormier:: Pyro-Maniac is receiving a much-needed beating right now at the hands of Mr. Showtime, Pest.

Harvey Schultz:: He sure is...

[Pest slams Pyro-Maniac into the steel gaurdrail, then Irish whips him into the ringsteps, knocking them away from the ring. HaZe stands in the ring quietly, watching the beating take place on the outside of the ring. Mr. Showtime throws Pyro over the gaurdrail into the crowd, then dives into the ring under the bottom rope where HaZe is waiting for him. HaZe drops a knee on the back of Pest's head, then begins stomping on his back and neck.]

Perry Daton:: 1...2...3...

Harvey Schultz:: Well, it's just HaZe and Pest right now. Pyro-Maniac got the hell beat of him on the outside of the ring before the match even started. He's gonna have a tough time beating the count back into the ring.

[HaZe pulls Pest to his feet with a handful of hair, then slaps him in the face. Mr. Showtime responds with a belly-to-belly suplex on the champ, then covers him. 1...kickout! Pest lays a few right hands into the side of HaZe's head, then whips him into the ropes. Pest attempts a standing clothesline, but HaZe ducks it and bounces off the far ropes. HaZe connects with a spinning heel kick to the face, knocking Pest to the mat.]

Perry Daton:: 4...5...6...

[Pyro-Maniac makes it back to his feet and tumbles over the gaurdrail as he crawls back to the ring. HaZe drags Pest to his feet and drives him into the mat with a piledriver. HaZe pulls Pest to the center of the ring, then heads to the top rope. HaZe poses on the top turnbuckle for a moment before coming off with the 450 Splash.]

Harvey Schultz:: There it was! The Enlightenment! Pest has just been Enlightened!

Perry Daton:: 7...8...9...

[HaZe begins mouthing off and gloating to the fans as they hurl insults in his direction. Pyro-Maniac rolls under the bottom rope and drapes an arm over the dazed Pest as the referee makes the count. 1...2...3! HaZe turns around just in time to see Pyro-Maniac roll out of the ring with his arm raised. HaZe pleads his case to the referee, but gets nowhere and kicks the bottom rope in frustration.]
Interview:
HaZe
[A camera crew out in the hallway picks up Douglas Baggins, who is running up behind the former Atlantic Champion, HaZe. HaZe doesn't appear to be in the best of moods as he's throwing around trashcans, benches, and pretty much anything else that's in his way.]

Douglas Baggins:: Excuse me, HaZe, can I get a few words from you real quick?

HaZe:: A few words...?! I've got more than a few words! Yeah, I lost the Atlantic Championship, so what! It's merely a sign of things to come. You see, I follow the path of the New Lights, Douglas, and this path is showing me that I'm headed for gold...Heavyweight Championship gold.

Douglas Baggins:: How will your loss earlier tonight effect your match with Mandrake in the main event?

HaZe:: It won't effect me at all, Douglas. I'll be coming into this match cool and collected. Mandrake, you have no hope of winning tonight, because it is I who follows the righteous path. While I have a purpose here in the AWA, you merely exist. After I'm through with you tonight, I will move on to bigger and better things, and things aren't looking too good for Corleone at the moment.

[HaZe shoves the microphone into Douglas' chest, then turns to walk away, but instead comes face to face with a waiting Corleone. Both men stare at each other for a few moments before HaZe steps aside and walks past the Italian. The camera cuts back out to the ring.]

Harvey Schultz:: If I didn't know any better, I'd say that those two men don't much care for one another.
Standard Match:
Mandrake vs. Jack Korse
Harvey Schultz:: Up next we have the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil taking on the Freak, Jack Korse. I think that Mandrake is gonna have a tough time with this genetically gifted youngster.

Regina Cormier:: You know, women like a guy with muscles, but not THAT many muscles. That's borderline disgusting.

["Meaning of Life" by Disturbed starts up, and out walks Jack Korse. The fans begin booing the muscular menace as he strikes a few poses to show off his enormous muscles. Korse slides into the ring and hops up on the second turnbuckle, then raises his arms in the air as the fans continue to boo him.]

Harvey Schultz:: He doesn't appear to be the crowd favorite here in this match.

[The lights dim as "Dream Song" by Ministry hits the cafeteria. The fans begin to cheer as the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil strolls out onto the entranceway, his head down and his arms at his sides.]

Regina Cormier:: I've seen this guy a few times backstage, but I've never actually met him.

Harvey Schultz:: A class act, is Mandrake.

[Mandrake jogs down to the ring and hops up onto the ring apron as Jack moves in for the attack. Korse attempts to grapple the daredevil, but Mandrake has other plans and scores with a shoulder block to the mid-section, then flips over the top rope, rolling across the back of the Freak in the process. 'Drake bounces off the ropes and charges Korse with a head of steam, connecting with a flying lariat. Mandrake makes the cover. 1...2.kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: The veteran, Mandrake, isn't even giving Korse a chance to get in any offense.

[Mandrake hops up onto the top rope, then waits for Korse to get back to his feet. Once he does so, Mandrake knocks him back to the ground with a missile dropkick. The Kill Devil Hills Daredevil pulls Korse to his feet and whips him into the ropes, then nails him with a boot to the abdomen, followed by a jump swinging DDT and a cover. 1...2...3!]

Harvey Schultz:: Well, that was certainly a quick match as Mandrake gets the pinfall after the SpellBinder. I'm guessing Mandrake didn't wanna toy around with his opponent, as he's got an important match yet to come here tonight.

Regina Cormier:: (under her breath)He can toy around with me anytime he wants...

Harvey Schultz:: What was that?

Regina Cormier:: Oh, nothing.
Standard Match:
P.O.D. vs. Steve Zapf
[The shot cuts to the boys locker room, where Zapf and P.O.D. have already engaged in their hardcore match. P.O.D. slams Zapf's head into the lockers repeatedly before bodyslaming him to the concrete floor and covering him. Mitch Horton, the referee assigned to this match, is quick to make the count. 1...2...kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: It appears that this hardcore match has already started, and has been going on for several minutes already. Both men look tired and battered.

Regina Cormier:: Yeah, Zapf has a nasty gash above his left eye.

Harvey Schultz:: Prince of Death is laying into Zapf with some big left hands to the side of the head. Oh! Look at that, Zapf just smashed a basketball into the side of P.O.D.'s head, knocking him to the floor.

[Zapf throws P.O.D. into the lockers, then stuffs Prince's head into an open locker and slams the door shut on his head repeatedly. P.O.D.'s knees give out and he falls to the ground in a heap. Zapf struggles to lift him to his feet, then executes the Cradle DDT on the concrete floor! Zapf covers him and hooks the leg. 1...2...3!]

Regina Cormier:: Zapf gets the win over Prince of Death after a grotesque Cradle DDT on the cold concrete.

Harvey Schultz:: Fans, we apologize for not showing that match in it's entirity as we were unaware that it had even started.
Interview:
Richard Cormier
Harvey Schultz:: I'm getting word from the back that the owner of this company, Richard Cormier, is headed this way, and he's got some things to get off his chest.

Regina Cormier:: Daddy's coming out here?!

["Whatever" by Godsmack starts up and out walk the owner of the AWA to a loud ovation from the fans. Cormier raises his hand in the air, as if to say "Thank you", then slaps a few hands on his way down to the ring. Upon entering the ring, a stage hand gives a microphone to Cormier, and the crowd dies down.]

Richard Cormier:: How are we tonight, Bluefield, Virgina?

[Upon hearing the name of their hometown, the crowd gives a cheap pop for the owner of the AWA.]

Richard Cormier:: I'm out here, because I've got a few announcements to make. First things first, construction of the Atlantic Arena is completed, and the facility is ready to host the AWA's first SuperCard, Undertow, which will take place Monday, January 21st.

Harvey Schultz:: That'll be one helluva show.

Richard Cormier:: Now, about the incident last week involving NyGhtMaRe...

[The crowd boos loudly after hearing that name.]

Richard Cormier:: Yeah, I know how you feel. Well, we can all thank NyGhtMaRe for ruining the deal with NBC. As of right now, we're still stuck on public access Channel 77, which is only broadcast through some parts of Virginia. After what transpired last week, the AWA won't be getting a TV deal anytime soon. But, I'm going to take action. So, NyGhtMaRe, as of this Monday night, you're no longer suspended!

[The crowd watches on in utter silence as Cormier continues...]

Richard Cormier:: So NyGhtMaRe, you'll have a match this Monday against an opponent of my choosing. NyGhtMaRe, you're in a world of hurt, because I'm going to make your life a living HELL!

[With that, Cormier tosses the microphone to the stage hand and exits the ring.]
Standard Match:
Anton vs. Corleone
[The theme from "The Godfather" starts up as Corleone walks out from the back to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He pays no attention to the fans and keeps his eyes focused on the ring. Corleone climbs up onto the ring apron and steps into the ring with his back to the entrance.]

Harvey Schultz:: There's the Italian, Corleone. He's already earned himself a spot in the main event at Undertow to compete for the Heavyweight Championship.

["Du Hast" by Rammstein starts up as the lights dim, then go completely out. A lone spotlight begins to search throughout the arena until it finally finds Anton running to the ring through the crowd. Anton slides into the ring and attacks Corleone as the lights resume. Referee Mitch Horton rings the bell to start the match as Anton continues to hammer away on Corleone.]

Regina Cormier:: Where did Anton come from? I didn't even see him get in the ring?

[Anton whips Corleone to the ropes, but Corleone reverses and sends Anton into the ropes. Anton bounces off the ropes and runs right into an earth shattering Corleone Spinebuster!]

Harvey Schultz:: Man, look at the force behind that spinebuster! That's sickening...This match might be over before it's started.

[Corleone drags Anton to the corner and signals for the end. The crowd waits in anticipation as Corleone position himself and his opponent on the turnbuckle. The Italian lifts Anton into the air and slams him to the mat with Oranges, then covers him. 1...2...3!]

Harvey Schultz:: Wow, another impressive win by Corleone, who's still undefeated here in the AWA.
Interview:
Mandrake
[Douglas Baggins catches up with Mandrake in the hallway next to the gymnasium. Baggins runs up to him with microphone in hand as Mandrake grabs a bench that HaZe threw across the hallway and positions it upright before taking a seat.]

Douglas Baggins:: Hey Mandrake, that was a pretty quick win you got over Jack Korse earlier tonight. Like to comment on it?

Mandrake:: No, not really. I went out there and got the job done...Hey, what happened around here? It looks like a tornado came through here.

Douglas Baggins:: That tornado would be HaZe.

Mandrake:: Ah, the cult leader. I imagine he was pretty upset that he lost his pretty little belt to, of all people, Pyro-Maniac.

Douglas Baggins:: Yeah, I guess you could say he wasn't happy.

[Mandrake's eyes light up upon hearing of HaZe's misfortune.]

Mandrake:: Well, HaZe's misfortune is going to continue because he has to face the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil tonight, and the outcome won't be pretty. It will be neither quick, nor painless. After that attack you masterminded against me last week, I'm gonna take pride in my work tonight. You're going to suffer an unholy beating at the hands of the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil...the Omen fortells it...

[Mandrake stands up to leave, but runs into Corleone, who is walking back to the locker room after his match against Anton. Mandrake and Corleone stare at each other for a moment.]

Mandrake:: That was a nice match you had out there...

Corleone:: Thanks. Good luck against HaZe tonight. I'd rather face you in the finals than him.

Mandrake:: Thanks for your vote of confidence, but I won't need luck out there.

[The two men step aside and continue on their separate ways as the camera cuts back to ringside.]
Tornado Match:
Super Bastardo Bros. vs. The Folk
["Name of the Game" by Crystal Method starts up as Plaz walks out to the ring with a cell phone and a briefcase in either hand. Loki comes out a few steps behind his older brother while pouring baby oil all over himself. The fans begin to boo the Bastardos as Plaz climbs up onto the ring apron, shouts a few insults to the crowd, then enters the ring. Loki squirts a large glob of the oil all over his chest, rubs it in real good, then seductively slides into the ring, leaving a trail of baby oil behind him.]

Harvey Schultz:: As you can plainly see, Regina, Plaz is the brains of this operation. Loki claims to be the brawn of the team, but I'm not quite sure that's correct.

[The Bastardos' music cuts as the two wait in the ring for their opponents. "Damage, Inc" by Metallica hits the arena, and the crowd begins to cheer for the lovable circus clowns. After a few seconds, the cheering dies out. Nobody comes out from the entrance, and music stops.]

Regina Cormier:: Where are the Folk at? I was really looking forward to this match.

Harvey Schultz:: I've just received word that the Folk won't be showing up here tonight. Apparently, the Folk's van has been sabotaged, and all four tires have been slashed. I wonder who would do such a thing...

[The Bastardos stand in the ring, pointing and laughing at the ring entrance. Referee Mitch Horton awards the match to the Bastardos as "Name of the Game" by Crystal Method starts up. The fans begin booing as the Bastardos exit the ring, obviously proud of their 'victory'.]

Harvey Schultz:: Well, that seemed a little fishy, didn't it?

Regina Cormier:: Are you insinuating that the Bastardos slashed the Folk's tires?

Harvey Schultz:: As Billy Suggs would say, "You can bet on it".
Heavyweight Championship: Round 2:
Standard Match:

Mandrake vs. HaZe
["Dream Song" by Ministry starts up as Mandrake comes out to a massive ovation from the fans for the second time tonight. The K.D.H. Daredevil stands at the entrance for a moment with his head down as he begins to hop around a little. Then, he sprints down to the ring and dives under the bottom rope. Mandrake jumps up onto the second turnbuckle and looks out into the crowd as they give him a standing ovation.]

Harvey Schultz:: Well, we're all set for our main event, and this is a match for the ages. These are arguably two of the best athletes in the world today, and they're set to go at it here in a few minutes.

Regina Cormier:: Not only that, they're not bad looking either.

["Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music hits the arena, and there is an immediate negative reaction from the crowd. HaZe comes out with his Book of the New Lights clutched in his right hand. The Enlightened One sets his book in the corner of the ring, then rolls in under the bottom rope. Mandrake and HaZe wait in their respective corners, doing some final stretching preparations as Senior Referee Perry Daton calls for the bell.]

Harvey Schultz:: These are two of the fastest risk takers in the AWA today. Prepare for a rapid, fast-paced match between these two speedsters.

[HaZe and Mandrake meet in the center of the ring, and begin exchanging words with one another. Finally, HaZe loses his cool and slaps Mandrake across the face, bringing him boos from the fans. Infuriated, Mandrake connects with a hard right hand to the face, knocking HaZe to the mat. Mandrake backs HaZe into the corner and begins pounding him with rights and lefts. HaZe stumbles out of the corner as Mandrake takes HaZe to the mat with a reverse DDT. The K.D.H. Daredevil goes for the cover. 1...2.kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: Mandrake goes for the early pin, but to no avail.

[Mandrake applies a standing side headlock, but HaZe shoves him off into the ropes. Mandrake comes off the ropes, and is taken to the mat with a Hurricanrana. HaZe covers 'drake and hooks the leg. 1..kickout! HaZe shoves Mandrake into the corner and lays into him with a reverse knife-edge chop that echoes throughout the arena. The fans let out a "Woo!" as HaZe delivers another chop. Mandrake fights out of the corner with a pair of headbutts and a dropkick, knocking HaZe to the mat. Mandrake quickly jumps up onto the top rope as HaZe gets back to his feet. Mandrake flies off the top rope with a flying cross-body block, but HaZe leaps into the air at the last second and connects with a mid-air dropkick!]

Harvey Schultz:: What an athletic feat by the Enlightened One, and Mandrake is down!

[HaZe rolls Mandrake onto his back and hooks the legs. 1...2...kickout! Frustrated, HaZe strikes with a leg drop, followed by a blatant chokehold. The referee gives HaZe the mandatory five-count, and HaZe breaks the hold just in time. HaZe pulls Mandrake to his feet and Irish whips him into the ropes, then attempts a back body drop. Mandrake turns just before reaching HaZe and backflips over HaZe's back, landing on his feet. Mandrake locks onto HaZe from behind and executes a bridging German suplex. 1...2...kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: Mandrake almost got the pinfall! He was a tenth of a second away from winning this match!

[Mandrake lifts HaZe up off the mat, but HaZe catches 'drake off gaurd with a thumb to the eye, temporarily blinding him. HaZe nails Mandrake with a piledriver, followed by an elbow drop from the second rope and a cover. 1...2.kickout! HaZe pulls Mandrake to his feet with a handful of hair, then sets him up for a Northern Lights suplex. Mandrake counters with a knee to the stomach, followed by the SpellBinder! Mandrake goes for the pin.]

Regina Cormier:: 1...2...3! Mandrake wins!

Harvey Schultz:: No. Daton says that HaZe got his shoulder up at the last second. That was really close!

[Mandrake questions the referee's count, then continues the assault on HaZe with a fistdrop and a cover. 1...2...kickout! Mandrake plants HaZe in the center of the ring with a brainbuster, then heads to the top rope. Mandrake stands on the top turnbuckle for a moment as the anticipation builds. Then, Mandrake launches himself into the air and connects with a devastating Swandive Senton Bomb. Mandrake crawls over to HaZe and covers him. 1...2...kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: So close, but somehow, HaZe kicks out!

[Mandrake pulls HaZe to his feet by the hair and shoves him into the corner. The Kill Devil Hills Daredevil gets in a few solid boots to the mid-section, then moves to the opposite turnbuckle. Mandrake sprints across the ring and leaps into the air for a big splash, but HaZe dives out of the way at the last moment! Mandrake hits the turnbuckle hard, and HaZe takes advantage by driving him to the mat with an inverted brainbuster!]

Harvey Schultz:: HaZe just hit the Dark DaZe on Mandrake. The end is near unless Mandrake can muster up some offense, and I mean fast.

[HaZe wearily climbs to the top rope and stands for a moment, sizing up the distance between himself and his target, then launches himself off the top rope. Haze flies through the air with the 450 Splash...and hits the mat hard as Mandrake rolls out of the way. The fans come to their feet as Mandrake hops up onto the top rope and nails HaZe with a missile dropkick. Mandrake covers HaZe and hooks the leg. 1...2...kickout!]

Harvey Schultz:: Another near fall by the daredevil...and what's this? Richard Cormier is headed to ringside.

Regina Cormier:: What's my dad coming out here for?

[HaZe pulls himself to his feet as Mandrake closes in for the kill. The two begin duking it out in the center of the ring, but Mandrake ducks a wild right hand by HaZe, locks on a sleeperhold, and drives HaZe to the mat with the Omen!]

Harvey Schultz:: The Omen! The Omen! It's over! All Mandrake has to do is cover HaZe.

[Mandrake climbs on top of HaZe and hooks the leg, but as he does so, Richard Cormier jumps up onto the ring apron, distracting the referee.]

Regina Cormier:: Daddy! What are you doing?!

[The referee begins talking with Cormier, telling him to get off the ring apron, but he won't listen. Confused, Mandrake turns and sees what's going on. Mandrake walks over to the ring apron and questions Cormier. HaZe pull the referee away, complaining of a knee injury, giving Cormier the opportunity to throw a handful of powder into Mandrake's eyes!]

Harvey Schultz:: What in the hell?!

[The fans begin to boo Cormier as HaZe takes Mandrake to the ground with a piledriver, then heads to the top rope. HaZe connects with the Enlightenment on the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil, then hooks the leg, as well as Mandrake's pants. Daton makes the count. 1...2...3!]

Harvey Schultz:: I can't believe it! Cormier has just screwed Mandrake out of a Heavyweight Title shot! But why?!
The Aftermath
[Cormier excitedly rolls into the ring and raises HaZe's arm in the air as the fans come to their feet with a tremendous boo! The crowd begins throwing garbage in the ring as HaZe continues to beat on Mandrake. HaZe lifts Mandrake to his feet, and Cormier gets in a few wide open shots. Having seen enough, Regina Cormier leaves her commentating position and climbs into the ring.]

Harvey Schultz:: Richard's daughter, Regina, is headed into the ring, perhaps to try to reason with her father.

[Pyro-Maniac heads out to the ring with a determined look on his face as the crowd shows their displeasure by pelting him with garbage. Regina walks up to her father and begins screaming at him and hitting him in the chest. A shameful look crosses Richard's face as he tries to explain himself to his daughter. Pyro slides into the ring as HaZe continues to hammer away on Mandrake. Pyro walks up and grabs Regina by the hair. An angered look spreads across Richard's face as he glares at Pyro-Maniac...then slaps his own daughter across the face!]

Harvey Schultz:: What in the hell?! How could he do that to his own daughter?!

[Richard orders Pyro-Maniac to throw his daughter out of the ring, and he does so. Then, Pyro and Cormier hug as the fans vocalize their disapproval. A stage hands throws a microphone into the ring as Pyro-Maniac and HaZe begin to hammer away on Mandrake in the corner.]

Richard Cormier:: It's been a long while in the making, but the Brotherhood has finally come together. It was all part of the plan. Pyro-Maniac winning the belt, HaZe advancing to the finals. This scheme has been brewing for quite some time, but finally, the Brotherhood of the New Lights is together at last!

Harvey Schultz:: I can't believe he's doing this!

[HaZe and Pyro-Maniac pull Mandrake to his feet as Cormier begins to pound away on the helpless Mandrake. Suddenly, "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed starts up as NyGhtMaRe runs out to the ring with his Singapore cane wrapped in barbed wire. The fans erupt as NyGhtMaRe slides into the ring and lays out Pyro-Maniac with a cane shot to the face!]

Harvey Schultz:: NyGhtMaRe is out, and these fans are behind him one hundred percent! They're actually cheering for NyGhtMaRe!

[HaZe closes in on NyGhtMaRe, but receives a shot to the abdomen, followed by a few shots to the back. Pyro-Maniac comes at NyGhtMaRe again, but gets struck in the mid-section with the Singapore cane, then gets clotheslined over the top rope with the cane. HaZe is back up, but receives a shot to the face with the barbed wire weapon which sends him out of the ring. Cormier attempts to leave the ring, but NyGhtMaRe grabs him by the back of the coat and sends him into the ropes. Cormier bounces back, and nearly gets his head taken off by a vicious shot to the head with the Singapore cane!]

Harvey Schultz:: NyGhtMaRe has completely decimated the Brotherhood, and he's busted open the owner of this company! There is absolute carnage in the ring!

[Right before Riptide goes off the air, NyGhtMaRe walks over to the nearest camera.]

NyGhtMaRe:: Run, run, run, as fast as you can. You can't catch me...I'm your worst fu*king NyGhtMaRe!

[Fade to black.]
