Introduction |
[Cooking with Corina comes to an end on public access Channel 77 as the dark blue AWA logo flashes across the screen. The logo shatters into tiny shards as the camera comes on inside of the Hillside High School Gymnasium in Durham, North Carolina. "We Die Young" by Alice in Chains starts up as Julius Jamal Jackson and Harvey Schultz make their way down the aisle and take their seats at the broadcast position set up at ringside. The crowd lets out a mild applause as the music cuts out.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, folks, here we are in the wake of Undertow! We have new Tag Team Champions, and a new Heavyweight Champion in HaZe! J.J. Jackson:: No doubt 'bout it, yo. I'm still in awe afta seein' that giant, Machine! Harvey Schultz: You and I both, my intellectually challenged sidekick. J.J. Jackson:: Yeah, yeah, whatever he said. Harvey Schultz:: Well, it says here on my cheat sheet that the Brotherhood of the New Lights has scheduled some interview time. They should be coming out here any min... |
Interview: Brotherhood of the New Lights |
["Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music floods the gymnasium, and the crowd begins to boo as HaZe and Richard Cormier are the first to make their way out towards the ring. They're followed by Viktor Krauser, Machine, and Pyro-Maniac, then James Nightbane, who tags along at the very back of the group. HaZe enters the ring, followed by the rest of the Enlightened as Cormier produces a microphone from his inside jacket pocket.] Harvey Schultz:: In one week's time, this group of men have completely knocked the AWA on it's ear. Richard Cormier:: Well, well, well...I guess it does pay to follow the path of righteousness. Look, we've got the Alantic Championship and the Heavyweight Championship under our control, and it's just a matter of time before we get the Tag Team Championships also. Thanks to the Book of the New Lights, there is the possibility of Enlightenment, and because of it, we're now better people. [The crowd begins to boo the owner of the AWA, and he raises his hand in an attempt to quiet them.] Richard Cormier:: For just $34.95, you too can learn how to cope with the daily struggles of you pitiful lives. For those of you that embrace the light...and I know you're out there...hurry over to the AWA ShopZone and pick up your copy today. Yes, it's true, you people...you Durham inbred, backwoods hillbillies can also bask in the knowledge that the Book of the New Lights provides... [The crowd boos once again, and a few angered inbreds...scratch that, fans hurl empty soda cups into the ring. Cormier hands the stick over to HaZe.] HaZe:: Good evening, my sheep. [Several fans boo, but HaZe pays them no attention and continues.] HaZe:: Yes, you're inbred sheep, but sheep nonetheless. Cormier has pretty much done all of my preaching for me, so I'll just talk about my match tonight against Corleone and NyGhtMaRe... [The crowd lets out a loud cheer for the two men mentioned as HaZe and Nightbane look out into the crowd angrily.] HaZe:: Baaah! Baaaaaaah! Shut your mouths, sheep! Tonight, myself and James Nightbane are going to show Corleone and NyGhtMaRe the way. It's not too late. There's still time to save them. Well, I don't know about NyGhtMaRe. He seems a little screwy in the head, but yes, the Book of the New Lights, on sale now for $39.95 at www.enlightenment.com and the AWA ShopZone, can be purchased on compact disc, so even the most feeble of minds can reap the benefits of Enlightenment. That includes you, NyGhtMaRe. [Once again, the Heavyweight Champion is showered with boos. HaZe hands the mic over to Nightbane.] James Nightbane:: Corleone, you're of no concern to me. Hell, I could care less if you don't even show up. NyGhtMaRe, I've beaten the living hell out of you once before, and tonight...I'm going to finish the job. [Nightbane tosses the microphone over to the Atlantic Champion, Pyro-Maniac as the crowd continues to hiss at each member of the Brotherhood. He holds the mic up to his mouth, then retracts it and stares out into the crowd with a maniacal grin across his face.] Pyro-Maniac:: Mandrake, I hope you don't actually think you have a hope in hell of wrestling this belt from around my waist. To tell you the truth, I don't care about winning the match. All I care about is hurting you. I'm gonna make sure that the only way you leave this ring...is on a stretcher! [Pyro passes the mic over to Machine's manager, Viktor Krauser, while the fans continue to yell obscenities at the Brotherhood. Krauser strokes his tiny Hitler mustache with his thumb and fore finger before speaking in his thick, German accent.] Viktor Krauser:: Tonight, you Americans will receive a first-hand account of the sheer strength and power of my Machine! Tonight, he will tear Jack Korse, P.O.D., and Gutter apart with his bare hands. Those three men will be thrown around as if they were children, and Machine will feel absolutely no remorse. [With that, Krauser hands the microphone back over to Cormier. The crowd boos even louder as Cormier begins to speak.] Richard Cormier:: I'm going to make a prediction, not a bold prediction, but a prediction. I predict that by about this time next week, the Brotherhood will be harboring all three AWA titles, officially making us the most powerful force in sports today. As for tonight...AWA, prepare...for HELL! [Cormier drops the mic as "Painkiller Introduction" by Professional Murder Music starts up. The members of the Brotherhood file out of the ring and head to the back as they receive an ovation of boos.] Harvey Schultz:: This doesn't look good for the rest of the AWA... |
Tag Team Match: Rusty & The Don vs. Billy Suggs & Jerry Verboncour |
[Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" starts up, and out comes Rusty, followed by his manager, The Don. The crowd cheers for the funny looking little man and his overweight accomplice as they make their way to the ring.] Harvey Schultz:: You see Donald Bonaducci along side Rusty, just like usual, but tonight, The Don has been relieved of his managerial duties. Tonight, he's gonna have to step into the ring and wrestle! J.J. Jackson:: Man, the only thing that's gonna happen is that fat boy gettin' his ass whooped! ["Dead and Bloated" by the Stone Temple Pilots starts up, and the fans begin to boo the duo of Billy Suggs and Jerry Verboncour as they make their way down the aisle. Suggs looks to his left and begins to laugh at the fans in a mocking fashion as the two veterans enter the ring.] Harvey Schultz:: Hey, you reckon either of those two gentlemen ever accidentally dropped the soap in bootcamp? J.J. Jackson:: Aw, hell yeah! But it wasn't no assident. Y'know what I'm sayin'? ["Maddog" Mitch Horton calls for the bell as Rusty and Jerry Verboncour start the match. The Pissed-Off Texan quickly sets the tone of the match by latching onto his smaller opponent with a standing side headlock. Rusty begins talking trash to his opponent, and after a few moments, Verb. releases the hold and stares at Rusty, then slaps the taste out of his mouth!] J.J. Jackson:: Oh! You just see a toof fly out? Harvey Schultz:: No, I'm afraid I must have missed that one. I don't know why Cormier is even allowing this match to take place. Rusty and the Don are clearly outmatched here. Maybe Cormier just enjoys putting people through great pain and personal anguish... [Verboncour plants Rusty in the center of the ring with a bodyslam, then tags in his partner. Suggs enters the ring with a cocky grin on his face as he begins to stomp away on the much smaller Rusty Ziset. The Backwoods Barracuda lifts Rusty to his feet by the back of his golden gym shorts and throws him into his own corner. Rusty reluctantly tags in the Don as Suggs waits greedily.] Harvey Schultz:: This doesn't look good. The Don isn't a licensed wrestler, he shouldn't be in that ring. J.J. Jackson:: How you know he ain't got no wrasslin' license? Harvey Schultz:: Because he's a manager, and to be a manager, you have to have a managing license. You can't have both at the same time. [The Don circles around the ring for a moment, then attacks Suggs with a wild haymaker. Suggs easily blocks it and busts Bonaducci right in the mouth, knocking him off his feet.] Harvey Schultz:: I think Suggs just laid out the Don with one blow. [Suggs points and laughs, then tags Verboncour back in. Verb. attempts to pull the obese man back to his feet, but his attempts are futile. Realizing the chore of lifting the Don to be too daunting of a task, Verboncour hops up onto the second turnbuckle. He stands poised for a few seconds before leaping into the air and connecting with a legdrop across the throat of the Don.] Harvey Schultz:: There it was, Bombs Over Bahgdad. Here's a victory to be proud of. Here's something you can brag to your grandchildren about. [Verboncour covers him, but Rusty attempts to break up the count. Suggs also enters the ring, however, and locks the Golden Sunset in. 1...2...3! Seeing Rusty at the mercy of his partner, Verboncour rolls out of the ring and retrieves a steel chair. Suggs continues to apply pressure to the hold, even though Rusty is already unconscious while Verb. slides back into the ring. Jerry bounces off the ropes with his chair at the ready as Suggs releases the chokehold and shoves Rusty forward. Verboncour swings with all of his might and connects with a chairshot to Rusty's face, nearly decapitating him!] Harvey Schultz:: Good God Almighty! Jerry Verboncour just crushed that man's face with a steel chair, and he's doesn't give a damn! [Suggs and Verboncour exit the gymnasium to a rather loud chorus of boos for such a small crowd.] |
Handicap Match: Machine vs. P.O.D. & Jack Korse & Gutter |
["The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson starts up as the lights in the gymnasium dim. Viktor Krauser marches out to the walkway, then turns and waits for his monster to appear. Machine slowly walks out and receives a collective gasp from the crowd, all of whom amazed by the massive size of the creature. Machine pulls himself up onto the ring apron, then steps over the top rope into the ring as the lights come back on.] Harvey Schultz:: That is the biggest man I've ever seen in my life. J.J. Jackson:: Brotha, that ain't no man... [Suddenly, the lights go black. When they resume, P.O.D. is standing in the ring directly behind the giant one-man-army. The fans begin to buzz as Prince of Death bounces off the ropes and clotheslines the 7'5" monster in the back, causing him to stumble forward a half step. Machine slowly turns around as P.O.D. comes off the ropes again...and runs right into the waiting hand of Machine. Machine lifts P.O.D. into the air by the throat and drives him to the mat.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, folks, you've just witnesses the Goozle, and I don't think P.O.D. is gonna be a factor in this match anymore. ["Meaning of Life" by Disturbed starts up as the Freak walks out from the back. He doesn't even take time to pose, but instead, heads straight for the ring. "All Funked Up" by Parliment Funkadelic starts up, and Gutter slowly emerges from the back and begins walking towards the ring. Korse slides into the ring and gets in Machine's face, then thrusts his hand into the air for a test of strength.] Harvey Schultz:: I think Jack Korse wants to know who the true genetic freak is, and he wants to know right now. [Machine looks him up and down for a moment, then wraps his meathook of a hand around Korse throat and chokeslams him to the mat. Meanwhile, Gutter has pulled a metal garbage can out from under the ring and has climbed up to the top rope. P.O.D. slowly rolls out of the ring as Machine turns around and spots Gutter on the top turnbuckle. Gutter throws the garbage can to Machine, the jumps off the top turnbuckle and dropkicks it right into the big man's face. Machine stumbles back a few feet, and seeing his opportunity, Gutter charges the big man, but only to have his head nearly taken off by one of Machine's big boots. Referee Perry Daton calls for the bell and disqualifies Gutter for use of a foreign object, awarding the match to Machine.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, Machine's won the match, but I don't think he's finished yet. [Gutter crawls to his knees and pulls himself to his feet with the help of the ring ropes and turns around right into the big hand of Machine. Machine plants him with the Goozle as P.O.D. grabs a cookie sheet out from under the ring. Somehow, Gutter rolls over and tries to stand as P.O.D. climbs into the ring and nails Machine in the head with the cookie sheet, bending it over his skull. Unphased, Machine strikes with a thrust to the throat, knocking P.O.D. into the corner. Gutter crawls across the ring and grabs the severely dented garbage can while Jack Korse slowly comes to. Gutter is on his feet, but somewhat wobbly as he nails P.O.D. in the side of the head with the metal can!] Harvey Schultz:: What in the hell?! Gutter just knocked out his own partner! I don't think he even knows what he's doing right now! [Korse is back to his feet, and he too gets drilled by the metal trash can! Gutter turns around and hammers Machine in the head, but Machine retaliates with a thrust to the throat, and the demolished can goes flying. Machine then finishes Gutter off with the Jacknife Powerbomb before leaving the ring and walking back up the aisle with his manager.] Harvey Schultz:: Once again, Machine leaves the ring nothing but carnage. But, oddly enough, this time most of the carnage was caused by Gutter... |
Tag Team Match: Super Bastardo Bros. vs. The Folk | Tag Team Championships |
Harvey Schultz:: After that freak handicap match we just witnessed, I think we need to cool down with a good old fashioned tag team match. J.J. Jackson:: Yeah, and the belts be on the line, baby! ["Damage, Inc." by Metallica starts up and out walk the Folk, minus Lori Rinngs and Gutter to a huge pop from the two-hundred fans in attendance. Jingles hops onto Jigsaw's back, and Jigsaw carries him down to the ring. Once in the ring, the two go to opposite corners and hold their stolen Tag Team Championships in the air for all to see.] Harvey Schultz:: You know, some people might say they stole those belts, but in my eyes, they deserve 'em. [Crystal Method's "Name of the Game" comes over the PA system, and out come the Brothers Bastardo, Plaz and Loki. The fans boo the flagrant rule breakers as the walk to the ring, Loki doused in baby oil as usual. Plaz is wearing his normal attire, while Loki is garbed in a pair of baby oil soaked purple and pink camo fatigues. Plaz walks up the ring steps, taking a few seconds out of his day to flip off some poor, undeserving fan as Loki does his "Sexy Slide" into the ring, leaving a slug-like trail of baby oil on the canvas.] Harvey Schultz:: I don't understand how these two goofs ever won the Tag Team Championships. It just baffles me. J.J. Jackson:: It's called "PURE TALENT", somethin' you wouldn't know nothin' 'bout, sucka. [The official for the match is Perry Daton as Jingles and Plaz are the first two in the ring to start things off. The two lock up, and Plaz immediately latches onto Jingles, wrenching his arm, then twisting it behind his back into a hammerlock. Jingles reaches down between his legs and grabs Plaz's ankle with his free hand, pulling his adversary to the ground. Plaz places his foot on Jingles' rear and shoves him into the ropes. Jingles bounces off the ropes, and Plaz is quickly back up to take him to the mat with a hiptoss. Plaz tags in Loki.] Harvey Schultz:: It looks like we're starting off with some fast-paced action. In comes Loki... [Loki pushes Jingles into the corner and lays into him with an extremely loud knife-edge chop, then lets out a loud "Woo!" for his own move along with the crowd. Finding it humorous, Loki lays into him with another loud chop, and again he celebrates his own move with a "Woo!", along with the crowd. Loki looks over to his brother with a wide grin on his face, but Plaz has his face buried in the turnbuckle to hide his embarassed face. Loki Irish whips Jingles, and as the clown hits the ropes, he reaches out and tags Jigsaw. Loki, oblivious to the tag, goes for a clothesline. Jingles ducks underneath the attempted clothesline, bounces off the opposite ropes, and slides between Loki's legs. Loki turns around...right into a waiting Jigsaw! Jigsaw lifts Loki high over his head, causing Plaz to run into the ring for the save. Jigsaw hurls Loki at his approaching brother, taking out both Bastardos. The champs roll outside the ring for a moment to regroup.] J.J. Jackson:: There's a manhandlin' goin' on here. [After a short breather, Loki slides back into the ring and stuns the big man with a rake to the face. Loki tags in Plaz, and the Bastardos take the strongman down with a tandom dropkick, followed by a legdrop/headbutt combination by both men. Plaz quickly covers Jigsaw. 1...kickout! Plaz positions himself on top of Jigsaw and begins raining lefts and rights down upon him. Having taken enough abuse, Jigsaw shoves Plaz off of him. Thinking quickly, Plaz skips over to Jingles and slaps him in the face, provoking him to enter the ring. Daton restrains the clown as Plaz drags Jigsaw over to his corner. With the referee distracted, Loki hops into the ring, and the Bastardos begin stomping a mudhole in their opponent. Plaz then claps his hands together to simulate the tag and exits the ring as Loki drags Jigsaw away from the corner and covers him. 1...2...kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: I'll give it to the Super Bastardo Bros., they're working very well as a team out here tonight. [Jigsaw makes it back to his feet, but Loki goes to work on the large man's knee with a variety of kicks. Jigsaw grabs Loki by the face and shoves him down to the mat, then heads towards his corner. Loki charges at him and nails Jigsaw in the back of the leg with a dropkick, buckling the big man. As Jigsaw falls to the mat, he barely makes the tag in to Jingles. Jingles jumps up onto the top rope and comes of with a flying cross body block, taking Loki to the ground. 1...2.kickout!] Harvey Schultz:: Let's see if the Folk can get something going here. [Jingles boots Loki in the mid-section, then bounces off the ropes and takes him to the mat with a bulldog. Jingles goes for the pin. 1...2..kickout! Both men are back to their feet, and Jingles attempts a flying headscissors, but Loki turns it into a modified Death Valley Driver. Loki then tags in Plaz, who takes care of Jingles with a diving reverse DDT right in the center of the ring. Plaz tags Loki again, and the two both head to the top rope.] Harvey Schultz:: Could we see the El-Blow Job? [Plaz comes off the top rope with a flying elbow drop, and Loki soars through the air with a diving headbutt, but Jigsaw pulls Jingles out of the way in the nick of time! Loki and Plaz crash and burn as Jigsaw grabs Plaz and tosses him over the top rope and out of the ring. Jingles heads to the top rope as Jigsaw positions Loki atop his shoulders. Jingles dives off the top rope and hammers Loki right in the throat with a flying lariat, causing him to do a backflip off of Jigsaw's shoulders and land awkwardly on the mat.] Harvey Schultz:: There is was! Send in the clowns! [Jingles makes the cover and hooks the leg as Plaz slides into the ring to make the save. 1...2...Plaz lunges at Jingles, but out of nowhere, Jigsaw drills Plaz in the side of the head with a big boot, hitting him with such velocity that it knocks him halfway across the ring through the ring ropes and out to the arena floor. ...3!] Harvey Schultz:: The Folk have done it! The Folk have done it! We have NEW Tag Team Champions! ["Damage, Inc." by Metallica starts up as the Folk grab their Tag Team Titles, which NOW rightfully belong to them. The hold their newly won belts in the air as the fans cheer them on. Loki rolls out of the ring as he and Plaz slowly recover on the outside of the ring. Plaz glares as Loki and smacks him in the back of the head as the two quickly leave the ringside area.] |
Special Delivery! |
[The shot cuts to a video feed of an AWA camera crew from New Jersey. The crew is at the Best Gym in Brick, New Jersey. Walking past all of the weight machines, the camera heads to a door leading to the back room, Pest's office. The door is closed. A young female dressed in brown knocks on the door impatiently, then waits while holding a small package under her arm.] Pest:: Who is it? UPS Worker:: This is Clair with the UPS. I have an order here for a...uh...Mr. Showtime? Pest:: Hold please... [After a few moments of silence, the door unlocks from the inside and swings open to reveal Pest. He has a blank look on his face as the woman hands him the package. He grabs it and begins to shake it next to his ear.] Pest:: Man, this is really light. Are you sure there's even anything in here? UPS Worker(Claire):: Not sure, sir. Now, I just need you to sign here... [Pest quickly scribbles down his signature onto the woman's clipboard, and she turns and leaves. Pest turns and tears open the small package, then opens the brown cardboard box beneath the wrapping paper. He reaches inside and pulls out a small index card, then reads it.] Pest:: Look behind you. [Pest pauses for a moment, then quickly spins back around towards the door, throwing his "gift" to the ground as if prepared for an attack. Seeing nobody but the cameraman, Pest gets a puzzled look on his face, then turns and head back into his office. Suddenly, the cameraman sets the camera down on the ground.] Cameraman:: Hey Pest. Pest:: Zapf? [By the time Pest realizes who it is, it's too late. A scuffle ensues, as the two men can be heard crashing into several metal objects. The camera picks up nothing at the angle it was positioned in. Suddenly, there is a loud thud, then silence as a metal dumbell rolls into view. Zapf picks the camera up once again and gets a shot of an unconscious Pest laying motionless on the ground with a large gash above his right eye.] Steve Zapf:: Heh heh, paybacks a BITCH, ain't it...Pest? [With that, the video feed cuts out and we return back to the Hillside High School gymnasium.] Harvey Schultz:: I can't believe it! Zapf was carrying that camera the whole time! J.J. Jackson:: Yeah, it WAS some pretty nice camera work, wasn't it? |
Standard Match: Pyro-Maniac vs. Mandrake | Atlantic Championship |
["Dream Song" by Ministry hits the PA system, and the fans come to their feet. The North Carolina native, Mandrake, makes his way out, and receives a standing ovation from the fans as he stands motionless in the entranceway with his arms at his sides and his chin to his chest. After several seconds, the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil heads down to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He climbs up onto the nearest turnbuckle and looks out into his sea of fans.] Harvey Schultz:: These North Carolinians sure like their homestate hero, don't they? [J.J. simply nods as Mandrake's music cuts out and "Bodies" by Drowning Pool starts up. The reaction is immediate as fans begin to boo the Atlantic Champion the second he steps foot into the gymnasium. Pyro seemingly basks in the glow of the crowd's hatred as he walks to the ring with a grin from ear to ear.] J.J. Jackson:: Man, I'm still gonna whip this boy's ass one o' these days, yo. Harvey Schultz:: That'll be the day. [Referee Mitch Horton holds the Atlantic Championship high in the air for everyone to see before handing it over to Cormier's brother, the timekeeper. Mandrake and Pyro-Maniac stare one another down from their respective corners as the bell rings, and the championship match is underway.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, we've just seen one title change hands here tonight. Let's see if we can make it two. Now it's no secret that these two men don't care for one another. In fact, Pyro-Maniac attacked the King of the Rungs from behind at Undertow a few short days ago. I think Mandrake's got two things on his mind right now: The Atlantic Championship...and revenge! [Mandrake immediately goes after Pyro by charging him with a running, leaping punch to the head. Both men go down with Mandrake on top of Pyro pummeling him. Mandrake yanks Pyro up to his feet and slams his head into the top turnbuckle, then throws him through the ropes where he crashes to the concrete. Mandrake measures his opponent, then bounces off the ropes and dives through the ropes, hitting Pyro-Maniac and knocking him into the steel gaurdrail.] Harvey Schultz:: A risky suicide dive on Mandrake's part, and Pyro is down on the outside. [Mandrake pulls Pyro-Maniac up and rams him into the ringpost, then rolls him back into the ring. Pyro-Maniac is barely on his feet wobbling around as Mandrake climbs up onto the ring apron, then springboards off the top rope and nails Pyro with a missile dropkick. Mandrake quickly covers him. 1...2...kickout!] J.J. Jackson:: Damn. That fly white boy is goin' all out tonight. [Mandrake pulls the champ back up to his feet, but Pyro reverses the moment of the match with a low blow, followed by an inverted atomic drop. Mandrake rolls towards the ropes and climbs back to his feet as Pyro moves in on his prey. Pyro hammers down upon 'drake with a clubbing forearm, then sends him into the corner where he attempts to wear him down with repeated shoulder thrusts to the abdomen. The Atlantic Champion lifts Mandrake up onto the top turnbuckle and readies him for a second rope superplex, but Mandrake strikes with several headbutts, followed by a shove that sends Pyro down to the mat. Mandrake then perches himself on the top rope and waits for Pyro to stand. Pyro-Maniac is back on his feet, and the Kill Devil Hills Daredevil leaps off the top rope, turns in mid-air, wraps his arms around Pyro-Maniac's neck, and slams him to the ground!] Harvey Schultz:: Mandrake just hit the Omen off the top rope! My God, what athleticism! [Pyro-Maniac has the presence of mind to roll out of the ring, where he lays on the arena floor. Mandrake stands on the second turnbuckle, gazing out into the mob of fans who are now on their feet. Pyro-Maniac slowly comes to, grabs his Atlantic Title, and starts heading for the back, earning himself a distasteful response from the crowd.] Mitch Horton:: 1...2...3... Harvey Schultz:: Pyro-Maniac is gonna get himself counted out so that he retains his title! J.J. Jackson:: Hey, that's what I'd do. [Suddenly, P.O.D. emerges from the back with a chair in hand and nails Pyro-Maniac in the head with it, knocking him to the ground. P.O.D. then lifts Pyro onto his shoulder, carries him back to the ring, and rolls him in under the bottom rope to a tremendous cheer from the fans. Mandrake nods his appreciation to P.O.D., then pulls Pyro to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Mandrake catches him on the rebound with a boot to the stomach, then plants him in the center of the ring with the Spellbinder! The crowd goes nuts as Mandrake covers him and hooks the leg. 1...2...3!] Harvey Schultz:: The winner of this match, and NEW Atlantic Champion...MANDRAKE! [P.O.D. picks the belt up off the ground and tosses it into the ring to Mandrake before turning and leaving. Mandrake climbs up onto the top turnbuckle, holding the belt in the air while the fans cheer him on.] |
Tornado Match: NyGhtMaRe & Corleone vs. James Nightbane & HaZe |
[The theme from "The Godfather" starts up, and out walks the mobster. The fans cheer him as he calmly walks down to the ring with a stern, almost sour look on his face. About halfway to the ring, HaZe and Nightbane run out from the back and clobber him from behind as the crowd begins to boo. HaZe and Nightbane throw the Italian into the ring and begin stomping away on him.] Harvey Schultz:: It looks like HaZe and Nightbane are gonna take the early advantage in this match. It's a two-on-one affair right now. ["Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed hits the arena, and the crowd goes ballistic. NyGhtMaRe runs out from the back, slides into the ring and begins hitting anything that moves. He repeatedly knocks HaZe and Nightbane to the ground with several big haymakers before the two take the low road and head to the outside.] Harvey Schultz:: NyGhtMaRe is a house of fire in there! [Nightbane and HaZe both slides into the ring as NyGhtMaRe goes after Nightbane. Corleone sits in the corner, recovering from the mauling he endured before the match even started. HaZe attacks NyGhtMaRe from behind, and the team of HaZe and Nightbane begin to go to work on the Deranged One. They back him into the corner and begin hammering away on him as Corleone slowly pulls himself out of the corner. Corleone charges his two opponents and goes for a big splash, but they both move out of the way, and drills his own partner. NyGhtMaRe falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring as Nightbane and HaZe knock Corleone to the ground with a double clothesline.] Harvey Schultz:: Corleone just took out his own partner, and the Brotherhood are really having their way with this duo. [Nightbane pulls Corleone to his feet and hooks his arms behind his back as HaZe begins laying in some sick body shots. Nightbane drags Corleone to the center of the ring and plants him with a piledriver as HaZe heads for the top rope. Cormier strolls out from the back and heads to the side of the ring opposite NyGhtMaRe. Kartier begins rifling under the ring until he finds a fire extinguisher. HaZe stands perched on the top rope, prepared to execute the Enlightenment, until NyGhtMaRe jumps up onto the ring apron and sprays him in the face with the extinguisher. HaZe looses his balance and tumbles to the outside of the ring as Cormier grabs a steel chair, runs around the ring, and hammers Kartier in the back with it.] Harvey Schultz:: I think Mr. Cormier has just made a BIG mistake! [NyGhtMaRe hops down from the ring and turns to face Cormier, unaffected by the blow! Cormier begins to backpeddle, then swings again, but this time, Kartier grabs the chair in mid-swing and rips it out of Richard's hands. Cormier panicks and begins to run around the ring as NyGhtMaRe gives chase. Inside the ring, Corleone is back up, and he and Nightbane are duking it out inside the ring. Cormier rounds one corner, then slides into the ring under the bottom rope. NyGhtMaRe follows him in, chair still in hand, as Nightbane breaks away from Corleone and goes for a clothesline on NyGhtMaRe. NyGhtMaRe ducks the attempts, turns, and nearly beheads Nightbane with the chair, knocking him to the mat. Referee Perry Daton calls for the bell, disqualifying NyGhtMaRe as Kartier turns and hammers Corleone in the side of the head with the chair, taking him out!] Harvey Schultz:: What in the living hell?! NyGhtMaRe just took out his own tag team partner! This is insane! [Spotting the referee, NyGhtMaRe lays him out with the chair too as the fans roar their approval! Suddenly, Machine, Viktor Krauser, and Pyro-Maniac run out from the back as NyGhtMaRe exits the ring and goes after Cormier. The owner of the AWA jumps the gaurdrail and escapes through the fans by running out one of the gymnasium's side doors with NyGhtMaRe hot on his trail. HaZe is back up on the outside as the timekeeper frantically rings the bell.] Harvey Schultz:: Well, HaZe and Nightbane are gonna take this match via disqualification, but it doesn't look like things are over yet. |
Complete Anarchy! |
[Nightbane and Corleone slowly begin to stir as the rest of the Brotherhood storms the ring. Machine, Krauser, Pyro-Maniac, and HaZe all begin to maul the already beaten Corleone as the fans pelt them with garbage. There is a slight roar from the crowd as P.O.D. runs out from the back with a crowbar in hand. Jingles, Jigsaw, and Gutter run out immediately behind him as Nightbane and Pyro-Maniac slide out of the ring to cut them off. The Folk, Nightbane, and Pyro-Maniac all begin brawling in the aisle as P.O.D. and Gutter slide into the ring.
