Abigail Rose Falls is known for her first name that when paired with her middle OR her last name makes a complete sentence. Not only is it a complete thought but the two sentences are completely opposite in action! Abigail Rose. Abigail Falls. Somehow, she doesn't find this nearly as amusing or as intriguing as I do. When I pointed it out to her our freshman year in college, she simply stared at me and said, "I had never thought of that before but thank you, Laura." From that point on, she took to calling me "Lola" and deemed "Lola the Showgirl" as my theme song. She then felt the need to belt the song out on campus in the middle of crowded hallways whenever she saw me from across the building. The quality of her voice and her actions when she got to the line "with a dress way down to there" was really quite moving. Last I heard, Abby was currently holed away in some library doing college student's research and dreaming of when she can join them in their scholarly struggles as she returns to her home of New Jersey to Rutgers for graduate school.
