I guess most people have a brief autobiography on their web site, so i figured what the heck...
My real name is Lisa. I was born in 1962, somewhere in Illinois. At the age of five, i moved with my parents and eight siblings to Arkansas, and I've lived here ever since. When i was 15, my Dad had a heart attack, and passed away. I don't want to talk about it.
I met the love of my life, David, in the 8th grade. I didn't plan to, that's just how it worked out. We married in 1981, fresh out of High School. We are still happily married today.
In 1984, i gave birth to my eldest son Noah. He was (and still is) such a joy, that i couldn't wait to have another. In 1986 his brother Nathan was born. They are, by far, my greatest accomplishment. I love them more than life itself. They are both wonderful human beings. Both excel in school, and have never been any trouble at all. I'm a very lucky Mom.
I fell in love with They Might Be Giants in 1986. My brother always taped 120 Minutes for me, because we didn't have MTV. When I saw the video for Don't Let's Start, I was hooked for life!
Now, things get a little complicated......
After Noah's birth, I started having headaches. They got worse after I had Nathan. I would tell my Doctor about them, every time I went for a check up. He would tell me I was sleep deprived. In 1990, at Christmas time, my right eye began to move around independently of my left. I felt horrible, and slept all the time. After Christmas, I went back to the Doctor. He sent me for a CAT scan, and they discovered a tumor. I had brain surgery in January of 1991.
My Neurosurgeon said it would never come back, but two years later, it did. I had brain surgery again. I'm all better now. Unfortunately though, i sustained permanent optic nerve damage, and I'm now blind in my right eye.
This may sound strange, but I'm glad it happened. I value my life so much more now.
A few years ago, David, Noah, and I were involved in a car accident. An old woman plowed into us at a traffic light. We received some money from her Insurance Company, for our pain and suffering. We decided to use the money to buy a computer. It's the same computer we are using today. I started posting on message boards, and then made my own. A while back I decided to make my TMBG page, and link it to my TMBG message board, and the rest is history.
I'm kind of proud of myself. Four years ago, I didn't even know how to turn a computer on. I still type with two fingers. I managed to figure out all this cool stuff though. You should never stop trying, and you should never stop learning.
Well, there you go... biff in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy my site. :-D
luv, biff

You might be thinking that you're free,
You might be sailing 'cross the sea,
You might be staring at the stars,
But you'll be thinking...
About me.
