1. how did you get into braid?
Once I went to São Paulo for my daughter-in-law's birthday. On that weekend,Ihad a quick and happy love affair with a girl who lived there. She gave meatape with "Movie Music vol. 1" on it. She had to stay there, but I couldbringthe tape with me.

I couldn't understand the lyrics until very recently when I found this website(THANK YOU FOREVER), but when I'm whistling the songs on the street I can manage to sing a few phrases I could understand and got stuck in memory,like "have we forgotten who we are""oh no! a disaster!" "on the radio! on the radio!" Actually, misunderstanding lyrics is a lot of fun.

Everytime I listen to the Movie Music songs, I remember of those moments with that girl, when I didn't even hear the band yet. I remember the first time I listened to it, on the bus coming back home. I used to hate emo ans stuff like that, but I feel ashamed I ever tought that.

It always reminds me of buses and that specific girl and weekend. None of my friends know or like Braid, so it's hard to relate. It has became a veryintimate and personal band for me, I never talk about it with anyone else. Sometimes I try, and they say "no... never heard of... oh, they were on thePixies tribute? Cool." and change subject. But that's ok!

All from Movie Music 1, for reasons I have over-explained :)

Never met any members, never been to a gig, never read interviews. I can't even buy their albums, all I have I got from Kazaa. Damn.

Don't know any either.

11. moment/habit that proves you are crazy about braid:
I used to listen to my Movie Music tape on the bus on my way back and forth school. It was not uncommon to see other passengers staring at me, quite puzzled with my movements and general screaming. I used to air-play the drums by tapping on the bus' floor too. I think all the drivers from that bus line know the lyrics by heart now.

12. most bizarre braid trivia you know:
I tried to make something up to hide my lack of Braid knowledge, but it didn't worked out as well as I planned originally, so let's proceed to the next question shall we?

Looking for the lyrics for "Movie Music 1", found it on Google. Been searching for years, thank YOU I found it now.

2. what would you like to do/see more on this site?
All band sites look the same: lyrics, pictures, news, mp3, bla bla. I think it would be more interesting to have extra stuff, like things created by the people who use the website, like personal texts and drawings and... well,I have a lot of ideas, let me know if you're interested.
