This is where you can find out about all the latest happenings with heavy metal band Doom Theory... 1/26/2002: Just a couple quick gig announcements: <2/02/02: saturday: Doom Theory opens at the blue max on main st. in lexington, ky. opening for Sixth Floor, and our metal brothers in PYRE... this should be a great show, starts around 9, get there early!!! $$$$ Doom Theory headlines the Losing your Sanity show sat. Feb.23 in their hometown of H-burg, w/ very special guests and friends Split 13...admission is $3.00 at the door..it's gonna be crazy, Doom Theory will be jamming some new songs and it all kicks off at 8... get more info and directions in the link section. UPDATE: 11/15/01: As many of you may know Pat is no longer playing with us...it was fun while it lasted, we wish him the best....and now...... Doom Theory will be back and stronger than ever, we've gone "underground" to regroup ourselves and to work on material for our second cd... we have these down so far: "River of the Dead" "Impure" "Born into This" "Doom Theory" "Slave to the Freaks" "Pandemonium" they're coming together very well.....so stay tuned. UPDATE 9/4: Another quick update about a couple of shows we got coming up: 9/21: @the blue max (main st. - lexington, ky. opening for PYRE!!! (awesome show man) 10/5: @the blue max (address above) we headline the show and we've got two killer bands opening up: Rooker Assassin and our metal brothers Grief Work...this one will be great...MAKE IT OUT 4 THIS 1!!!!! 10/19 Friday....Jam out at the Radisson in Lexington, Ky. w/ High Flyin Low, Doom Theory, Pownd, and others...more details to be announced..It's in the ballroom and we play first at 7:00. so get out there early...and don't forget to wear your costume!!!!.. and finally Doom Theory is working on some new songs...more info on this later. UPDATE 7/16: NEW GIGS!!!! Saturday August 11 (a party for a friend who's getting married....should be a blast it's also with High Flyin' Low...starts around 8... (hmmm did someone say free beer???) if ya want directions e-mail me... Friday August 17: The Blue Max in Lexington.. opening for PYRE. (9-1)..this club is on main St. (formerly the Millenium)....come on out should be a real heavy show. Also, there could be a possible show scheduled on Saturday August 25...more details TBA. And on Saturday September 29, in Harrodsburg Doom Theory jams w/ Split 13, High Flyin' Low, Downfall, and Grief Work...again more details TBA. but it will be a free show!!!! Pat Gibson, guitar player (formerly of the band Sweet Evil) has agreed to play with us!!! He's a hell of a guitar player and a good guy so we're all happy to have him on board (more info on Pat soon) His first show with the band will be The August 11 show...we can't wait!! Just a quick update 4/15/01: Doom Theory is currently working on new material, they have pretty much gotten down 2 new songs "Slave to the Freaks" and "River of the Dead"...they will be playing these out when they play live....Please check out the jams they already have available on the net on either their homepage, mp3.com, or the countless other sites that feature Doom Theory music.....The new lyrics are also available on the main site or here below in the links section.... There will be a few gigs announced in the next bit so stay tuned for that...
