A page full of art...
This is where my growing collection of self-art is going
to be housed. Right now, it is fairly small, but that's
because my stuff tends to disappear before I manage to
scan it in. Eventually, you will find my poems here, parts
of my book, my short stories, my drawings, and photographs
that I have taken.
stars shine brightly in the night
but where do they go from there?
do angels ever wonder what love is like
or do they even really care?
stay with me and we'll find the answers
in my many strands of hair.
it is true, don't you believe me?
come on over from over there.
silent night - 2001
silent suffusion,
indolent infusion,
i suffer confusion,
altered illusion.
untitled #2, 2001
this guy looks like a messed up cigar...
brightness, blinding, in my eye
constant colour enveloping my life
continuity on codeine is impossible to reach.
will someone keep me safe?
sanity is slipping ever graciously
toward my own self-made oblivion
keep me under, keep me under
living in the deep blue wonder of the wild world.
continuity on codeine is not the greatest thing.
continuity on codeine - 2001
(a note, this was written while i had bronchitis and was taking a codeine and cough
syrup mixture prescribed by my doctor...)
a new world opens up for me
and here you are before me in it
crisp as day, the wind goes by
flowing about us both as we stand
i reach out to you and lo,
you reach back to me
and all is well in this new world
New World, 2001
my world does not end when i think of you.
it falls apart around me though and i don't know what to do.
things were so much simpler, once upon a time.
and now that i want just friendship, it seems to be the end of the line.
how could something like this happen, of all people, to us?
i don't think that i can handle this, everything suddenly so ambiguous.
i feel so empty without you to be there for.
all i want is friendship, all you want is more.
