Put together for the Millenium of the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, Soul Purpose is a melting pot for over a century of diverse musical experience. Sensational vocalist Jacqueline Vaillancourt is the focus for a hot five-piece rhythm section and together they cook up some sophisticated blue- eye soul. Band members include David Cunningham (bass), Berry Hughes (drums), Rob McPhee (guitar), Dave Nightingale (guitar) and Jon Weaver (keyboards). They have been heard locally with such groups as the Downtown Blues Band, Modabo, The High Divin' Act, Blind Dog and many others. Soul Purpose will be appearing at this years 2002 Harvest Festival for the third time, as well as participating in River Jam concert and CD and other benefit projects.
