ABOUT US...
the Opposed are a partly sXe hXc band from Edmonton Alberta Canada. The band started when Johnny Squirrelnuts created a demo and wanted to make some crazy songs and recruited more members, those members were Lohn Jennon (Later replaced by Mud.) Pip and Aaron Asshole. The band released "Free Beer UK", During the recording, a guy named Anthony stopped by and did backup harmony and ended up joining the band.
The band later decided they didn't like their name because they hate beer and think it tastes like shit, so they changed it to "The Opposed" and released a split with the accomplished Edmonton band RUNIC.
Months later Pip and Mud decided to leave the band, Squirrelnuts and Asshole quickly found two replacements, guitarist Dangerous Dave and bassist Dylan Dillhole.
For some reason, a couple months later, Dillhole left the band and was replaced by a crazy bassist named Jerkoff Joseph.
The band has an amazing live show, has played loads of shows, all in the Edmonton area and their songs are usually about direct action and how sickly retarded
most of the so called punk scene is.
