Here is some of my poetry that I have put here for your reading pleasure. These are copyrighted, so I ask that you not take them unless you have my permission to put them on your website with a link back to mine. And please send me feedback. I love to hear what people think.

This is Night Wing.
He will guide and protect you
as you journey further into my mind.

Vanity

My grave,

Not yet cold from my sufferings,

Has bound me to this Earth I crumble in my fingertips.

A spark of life!

My mind gone from jeers out of nameless faces.

Those I knew are strangers now.

Learing taunts replace my fond memories.

Slowly,

Slowly I breathe.

Faster,

Faster rapid heart.

Angels with forked tongues sing lessons to me.

I disdain their words.

Vainly taught,

Vainly heard.

Human more than I,

More love than I deserve.

Your Ever-Willing Slave

My heart is torn.

Emptyness.

Sorrow.

Pain

Love has left me

But still remains...

Yours,

Forever,

Truly never mine.

My soul is empty,

My mind lies...

Here in darkness

I spend my days,

Light taken away

It never shines.

My body is lying here

Sleeping

But awaiting your touch.

Only dreaming I see you,

But were you ever there?

Your love meant so much.

I thought I found love

I fear to speak,

The words I long to hear.

I see the stars,

Rising in the air.

The tears

Bitter tears

Run down my cheek

As I look with longing

For my place in your heart.

Glittering and sparkling

The drops on your arm.

My face is awash

In the light of the moon,

Glowing.

You kiss my lips

And I taste your salt.

I bite my tongue

To hear your words.

You want no part of me.

So once more I am alone.

A word of warning

Your face reminded me of a sunset

Tranquil,

Serene,

And pure.

Now dark clouds are on that horizon.

The harm they do will be to you.

Blinded b the light from that sun,

You do not see the evil storm coming your way.

A lone figure waves

Tries to save your grace.

With a shiny new hope,

Put on that morning

Your eyes are still blind.

Short cropped waves whip in the wind

And the lone figure gasps as if drowned in a

Sea of loving despair.

Her whispered cries are lost

In the loneliness she feels without you there.

More to come if you like this.
