When I was little, for a long time I watched Mary Poppins literally every day. But then when I went through that whole "I’m too old for kids stuff" phase that people go through in about middle school, it kind of fell by the wayside. And I didn’t see it again until a couple weeks ago.

OK, so when I’m talking about this film, keep in mind that I have a violent, irrational love for Julie Andrews. She makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I never saw a movie with her that I didn’t love, but then again, I never saw The Princess Diaries. So of course, I love Mary Poppins.

But I mean, come on! This movie gave us "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," "A Spoonful Of Sugar," "Chim Chimeree," "Feed The Birds," and so on and so on. And it’s just...radiantly lovely.

Once again, I’m having trouble coming up with things to say, and I think it’s partly the fact that I’m so close to it. And also the fact that I feel like just about everyone else is, too. So. Yeah.
