Come learn the basics of boxing with one of our state's top-ranked boxers. Dress to move in comfortable workout clothes!

10:30 - 11:30 am - What A Girl Wants - What A Girl Needs

What Girls Should Know About Life, Their Bodies, and Their Choices. Discussion group with Planned Parenthood peer educators - open to female 6th-8th graders.

10 - 11:30 am - Take Control by Using Your Dollars and Sense! Money Monagement Workshop

open to female 9th-12th graders.

11:30 - 12:30 pm - What A Girl Wants - What A Girl Needs

11:30 - 1 pm - Take Control by Using Your Dollars and Sense! Money Monagement Workshop

12:30 - 2 pm - Wander through the Oh the Places I Can Go! Career Walk

Doctors, lawyers, construction workers, scientists, business owners, sound engineers, social workers, hip mommas, psychologists, musicians, and more! Do Science Experiments with University of Illinois Students and Faculty!

1:30 - 3:30 pm - Moo Do Tae Kwon Do - @ HMD Academy 1701 Woodfield Dr., Champaign

Space limited. Call 637 4475 to sign up. This 2-hour workshop introduces Moo Do Tae Kwon Do, a Korean martial art that emphasizes the development of a strong and beautiful self. Moo Do Tae Kwon Do, as a non-combative and non-competitive art, will help you master new skills, increase your strength and flexibility, and give you greater confidence, self-esteem, and self-discpline.

2 - 3:30 pm - Be a Vegan! Workshop. The Common Ground Food Co-op - 403 S. Wright St.

Why be vegan? To help the environment, save animals, and be healthy! Learn about veganism (a diet consisting of no meat or animal products) and cook up some great vegan food.

4 - 5 pm - Grrrls, Start Your Engines! Basic Automotives Workshop

Open to girls and young women 12-18 - It's about time you checked out what's going on under the hood of a car. Learn some important basics to keep your future cars running! Dress for grease!

5 - 6 pm - Grrrls Need Guitars! Rock Instrumentation Workshop

Learn the basics of electric bass, guitar, and kit drums! C'mon - feel the noise! Girls rock!

6 - 6:45 pm - Daily Illini Newspaper Tour - @ The Illini Media Building

7-8:30 pm - Girls' Poetry/Writing Open Stage - @ the IMC
