Janurary 18th 2002-
As of the new year we here at holiday at starting over. That means new bands new people and well you got it a whole new year to do nothing. Well our biggest news of the new year. Our first and newest band to the label will be the Band The Sophmore Promise. This is the newest band in Sacramento making major news already with not only a great live show but also the members in the band, featuring John Larson(formerly of Lousy Lovers) and Clay Wolery( also with The Ginu Force. The band will be preforming around Sacramento and the northern Ca. Area's for the rest of the year and during the summer record some demo's for the label to also shop for distro. Other than that nothing else good luck and we will see you next time.
September 3rd-
We got lots of news for you all here today. First off two Weeks Till Tuesday has put the finishing thouches on the band and gottin all the key components together.They are currently writing new material and working on more shows in Bay Area near the home. Electronic Artist Liquid Daydream might be appering on a Sacramento Electronic festival. The deal is being worked out with him and the label to do this hen we find out you will be the first to know. Well thats all i gots for now but more to come soon.
July 30th-
OK well lots of shit has happend so lets start with first of all. Last Zero and Holiday Records are gonna be combined together as one or Holiday Records will be a Subsiderary of Last Zero Records which i know own and run as well. Number 2 Lousy Lovers offical website is now up and running so sit back relax and enjoy. 3rd Liquid Daydream is currently writing music for his upcoming album to be the first release off Holiday Records due out sometime next year. 4th. 2 Weeks has an almost complete band looking for a few more little key things to be completed. So far i hope things are looking up and i hope J-Dawg enjoys the one update i made and i will make an even bigger update sooner later.
May 2nd- Lousy Lovers is getting ready to go into therecording studio to start work on there split full length with 3FF slated for a late summer release possibly on Holiday Records. lousy Lovers are also going to be appreaing on a East Coast punk comp to come out in late July early Augest.
April 25th- BIG NEWS. Holiday Records is working out a deal with 8 bucks Experiment (the band that preformed in SLC Punk) to release the next 7". More details on the way as we get them.
April 21st- Lousy Lovers has picked up their newest member of the band Joey Hyland. There's more info at the Lousy Lovers fake website.
April 17th- We have added an archive news section for your reading pleasure
April 16th- Lousy Lovers is auditioning new bass players. This does not mean that Lousy john will be losing his job but as stated by John Hatfeild "with a new and better bass player the band will be able to go in a bigger direction musically wise." Stay tuned for more information or go to the Lousy Lovers fake web site.
April 11th- Liquid Daydream is currently working on music for his first album to be released on Holiday Records sometime in 2002 and he will be performing shows around the Bay area.
March 30th- Here at Holiday records we are currently working on releasing our first 7" " Shredders Revenge" featuring 5-6 bands covering old school death metal bands. Lousy Lovers, Team Karate Warehouse, and Shop 11 Phoniex have all given us the thumbs up and we are currently talking to 7 other bands right now.
March 30th- John Hatfeild guitarist for Lousy Lovers brought home a Sacramento punk award winning in the Best Guitarist category.
