- Announcer came out to a decent pop,
went for the Mic and it wasn't working,
could only hear pieces of what he was
saying. Took around 20 minutes for mic
to get going again. 10 Count for deceased
veterans.
- Ric Blade vs. Loung Lizard Nicky
Benz aka Nick Berk. Benz came out cracking
bad jokes, talked about Polar Bear hunting.
Then started to sing, which was cut
off by Ric Blade. Blade dominated match,
high spot of the evening was a flying
swanton bomb out of the ring onto Benz
who was on top of a chair piled by two
chairs to resemble a table. Blade won
with a spinning backflip. I like Berk,
even though he jobbed to Slambo the
Clown in PWF, and hope he can regain
the same prestige as he used to have
as a former CZW Heavyweight championship
and JAP Light Heavyweight champion.
I also loved the Softcore Connection
:).
- Rebel vs. Doomsday Danny Rose. Rebel
came out and ripped on the crowd, typical
heel fashion. Rose played the face and
warmed up with the crowd nicely. Referee
of the match looks like Hitler. Fast
paced back and forth action, Rose had
the advantage of the match but Rebel
played off nicely the cheating heel,
he won by hitting Rose with a foreign
object. After the match Rose attacked
Rebel to regain heat from the crowd.
To read the biography on Rebel click
here. Both performers
solid in the ring.
- Announcer came out, did some schilling
for LAW, then Lou E Dangerously came
out with his entourage and attacked
the commish. SERIOUS MARKS in the crowd
tonight screaming for CW Anderson, one
fan even professed his divine love for
CW. The heel faction comprised of Jimmy
Jannetty, Lilly, Patch, Lou E. &
CW cut on the crowd, saying no one can
face up to CW, Rapid Fire Maldonado
came out, in replacement of Ty Street,
defending the honor of Steve Corino
and his federation. Challenges CW to
a match later in the night, which he
accepts.
- Patch vs. "Hellhound" Cujo
for the Top Rope Radio Championship.
Hellhound comes out with face paint,
a chain and hooting like a dog. Patch
simply has a patch over his eyes. Patch
dominates in this match, and just continuously
suplexes Cujo. Patch's manager Lilly
interfers and hits Cujo with his own
chains, Patch covers for the win. After
the match Cujo did his "hoot, hoot,
hoot" thing until the very last
second when he reached to the back,
talk about dying for a cheap pop :).
- Supercody w/ Mad Dog Paerson as the
ref. This is supercody's retirement
match. He comes out in a superman outfit
with his underwear out and goggles and
claims to know how to fly, though everytime
he does he lands very hard on his stomach.
Talks about his carrer and starts thanking
people, then James Proper and O' Dogg
come out and attack him, King America
comes out to help out Supercody, who
is actually the referee for LAW. Typical
tag match which saw Cody as the super
face, with the heels dreading his action.
Supercody pins O' Dogg. for win, entire
LAW crew comes out, drive away the heels.
Pick up Supercody and allow him to finally
fly. Supercody thanks everyone and those
in the ring with him.
- Wrestler named Badger comes out and
cuts a promo on the Himalyan players,
to which point they come out into the
ring. Once that happened a gang of heels
came out and repeatadly smashed The
playas with chairs. They are big guys
and the shots were veryyy loud.
- Maverick vs. White Lotus for LAW
Light Heavyweight title. Maverick was
part of the Saturday morning crew in
WWWA with Supercody, and White Lotus
looks like Low-Ki. Funny point in the
match White Lotus tells ref Maverick
is pulling his hair, despite the obvious
that he has a shaved head. I told the
ref to get in the match and make it
a three way, started chanting USA ,
jokingly he pointed to his mouth indicating
me to quiet down. Maverick had a nice
bridge in the match and Lotus is solid
with suplexes, but the match was very
slow paced. Maverick won and ended up
getting the announcer and the ref in
a ho down dance.
- Iggy Rose aka Def Leppard took vs.
Bart Schol. Iggy looks like an ex Def
Leppard roadie, while Bart Schol is
a takeoff of Haystacks it seems. Bart's
character: he's always happy. Two words:
Rocky Maivia. Didn't watch too much
of this match, too into chating back
and forth with Hat Guy John Bailey and
his crew, and the fat guy who kept mooning
and showing his huge belly to everyone.
- CW Anderson vs. Rapid Fire Maldonado.
CW acted like he didn't want to be here,
very stiff suplexes and chops on Rapid.
Ended up giving him the spinebuster
for the win. all that buildup for such
a clean finish, oh well!
- LAW heavyweight Champ Jimmy Jannetty
vs. Mark Smart aka My Boy Brien. Disposed
of Brien very quickly, after that I
had to leave, gave Brien and the rest
of the wrestlers a little goodbye and
headed off to work.
- Thoughts: The show had a real
ECW feel to it. There was a lot of Ex
ECW stars and announcers there, as well
as an ECW referree, and I picked out
at least 25 fans that I saw from the
ECW arena. The wrestlers did the best
they could considering the space they
had. The only wrestler I felt didn't
git it his all was CW Anderson, as Rapid
just let him unload on him during the
match. Not the best show, but definetely
not the worst i've ever been to. From
a scale of 1-100, it get's a solid 70.
A 'C'. Best match was Ric Blade
vs. Nick Berk.
