said the old man to a boy about a fifth of his age
with a fourth of his gentlemanly kindness
and if you find yourself bored and alone
don't be weak
who needs a boy with the heaven-born insolence
to need to sleep when there is
so much left to accomplish?
you must try, it'll make you happy
cause no one will be taking your sympathy anymore
don't throw it back in the faces of those who have
tried and failed and are happy with that
who are you to to waste your life
and insult those of us who've got nothing from ours?
