You'd probably be surprised, but with gas prices, many Pariseans bought a mo-ped, motorcycle, or a Smart Car. Have you seen the Pink Panther with Steve Martin? His character, Jaque Cluzco drives a Smart Car.
In Paris there are tons of shops. If you ask a Parisean which tatstes better a McDonald's or a French burger chain, there answer will most likely be "McDonald's."
