All we can say is WOW! This weekend was amazing with three awesome concerts where the volume at which we all worshipped together reached new heights. One of the most fascinating things in our travels this weekend would have to be the dancing of those that reside in Michigan City, IN. We were not entirely aware that people could move like that before this weekend. Any kind of dance move, you name it, these peeps out in Michigan City could throw it down. On top of that, they were all really LOUD. All in all, we consider this weekend a TOTAL success. That's not the end though. Not even close. The tour rolls on all year. We kick things back off Friday May 6th with a lock-in at St. Peter's Church of Christ in Frankfort, IL and then immediately the next day (May 7th) to The Hub in Oakland, IL. The Daylight Donuts & Coffeehouse Presents Coffeehouse of Blues Night at 8 PM at there shop at 114 N. Cedar Street on the Nevada Missouri Square. For only a small cover charge of $4 enjoy great Blues music while helping the areas youth, with the proceeds being donated to the Vernon County Youth Alliance.

Hey what's up everybody? Joel here from Kalatria. I'm here to tell you about the concert of the week for Nevada, MO. This Saturday, April 16th, Daylight Donuts will feature local Nevada bands Eleven 27 and Kalatria. The doors open at 7:30, the show starts at 8:00 p.m., and the price is just 4 dollars at the door. Yep you heard right, 4 dollars. What else can you do for 4 dollars that will last at least 2 hours? Well, around here the answer is nothing. If you come to this concert you will not be disappointed. If you want to hear for yourself before coming to the show you can check out Kalatria at http://www.myspace.com/kalatria and to hear Eleven 27 go to http://www.eleven27rock.com. Also this will be Kalatria's "CD RELEASE SHOW" so bring 5 bucks and buy a cd or you could bring more so you could support both bands by buying both cd's. That'd be great!
