The Walls I Built

 

Could there be a life for me…

Beyond these walls I built

Could there be something else

Anything for me?

 

I search for hope…

I search for love…

But never beyond these walls…

 

Could you rescue me from the dragon?

Could you take me away from here?

Could you knock down these walls I built?

So I can run free….

 

I cannot remember

Just how I built theses walls

I don’t remember why

But still cannot knock them down

I’m too scared…

 

Never do I expect

To leave these walls behind

Because today I weep…

Tomorrow I mourn

 

Never to see

Never to leave

Never to live

And, never to love

 

Take me away from here

Knock these walls down

Never let me rebuild them

I need to breath!
