This CD is a collection of live performances recorded from 1989 through 1992 at Potter's in Greenville, R.I. and Gillary's in Bristol, R.I. John Spreier produced and recorded the album using a line level direct from the mixing consule.

Newbird was: David Chandler on keyboards & vocals, Kenny Johnson on drums, John Spreier on bass & vocals, and Fred Wilkes on guitar & vocals. Fred sang the lead vocals on all of the songs except Mister Charlie, Stella Blue, and The Music Never Stopped which were sung by David.

The Music Never Stopped was written by Robert Weir and John Barlow. U.S. Blues was written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter. When I Paint My Masterpiece was written by Bob Dylan.
