This CD is a collection of live performances recorded from 1989 through 1991 at Potter's in Greenville, R.I. and Gillary's in Bristol, R.I. John Spreier produced and recorded the album using a line level direct from the mixing consule. Newbird was: David Chandler on keyboards & vocals, Kenny Johnson on drums, John Spreier on bass & vocals, and Fred Wilkes on guitar & vocals. Fred sang the lead vocals on all of the songs except Don't Let Go and Pressure Drop which were sung by John. Don't Let Go was written by John Spreier. Generation Rumble was written by Dave Edmonds. If I Don't Be There By Morning was written by Bob Dylan and Helena Springs. I Second That Emotion was written by Smokey Robinson and Al Cleveland. I Shall Be Released was written by Bob Dylan. I Shot the Sheriff was written by Bob Marley. Knocking On Heaven's Door was written by Bob Dylan. My Back Pages was by Bob Dylan. My Sisters And Brothers was written by Charles Johnson. One After 909 was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Pressure Drop was written by Frederick "Toots" Hibbert. Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn) was written by Bob Dylan.
