i suppose you've all heard of Napster too - gready bands and record companies are suing them for breaching copyright laws. What's the difference between lending a cassette to a friend (where you probably won't end up buying a copy cos you can make a copy yourself) and downloading off napster? Hey fans are only sharing mp3's that they probably own in other formats anyway. It gives new and well knwon bands free exposure, which can only be a good thing. Don't get me wrong, we do not support the release on mp3 of any unreleased material - but i think record companies should wake up and listen to the fans who are paying their wages.
