What Is Carjackeo? "Carjackeo" is a term which was often used in Reggaeton as a form of describing an artist stealing his songs. In the early years of Reggaeton, artists who were desperately seeking recognition and fame utilized this method to appeal to the fans. Reggaeton artists copied songs from English Rappers,Pop Artists,House & Techno Artists & Reggae Artists and changed around the lyrics to match that of a Reggaeton song.In other words,it was the easy way out.
"Carjackeo" was highly popular up until 2003, when artists became focused on entering the American Music scene.In order to be accepted and respected for their work, artists began writing their own songs and using their own flows.
