Audrey had been on the bus for a good fifteen minutes before she realized that she'd forgotten about the other guys. She fumbled around in her bag until she found her cell phone and the list of contact numbers that she'd been given. With still-shaking hands, she dialed Lance's number.
"Hello?"
"Lance?"
"Oh, hey Audrey! Where do you want me to meet you?"
"I don't," she answered, a small tremor in her voice. "The shoot is off. You guys can do whatever you want for the rest of the day. For the rest of the week, as a matter of fact."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Why don't you ask Justin about that. Look, I really have to go, so if you could call the other guys and let them know what's going on, it'd be a great help to me."
"Sure... " Lance agreed, sounding confused. "I'll see you later?"
"Yeah, maybe," she mumbled, before hanging up abruptly. She switched her cell phone off so that she wouldn't have to deal with anyone else, and stared out the window. After a few minutes she recognized her surroundings and realized she was near the hotel. Dinging the bell, she barely waited until the driver stopped before jumping off the bus and hurrying towards the hotel.

Audrey peeked out the door to her hotel room to make sure the guys hadn't returned, before she ventured out. She was dressed comfortably in clothes of her own choice this time, a pair of blue cords and a dark red shirt. She didn't bother with her jacket, because it was pretty nice out, and her shirt was made of wool and it kept her quite warm. She'd ditched her camera bag in her room and substituted it for a black messenger back into which she'd crammed a sheet from the hotel bed, her CD walkman and her wallet. She hurried down the hallway and into the elevator, eager to avoid confronting any of the guys. She did however stop at the front desk request directions to the nearest park.
