Takeo – All right chapter three!
Chapter Three : Petals
Fuuma removed himself numbly from the hotel room floor. He remained in absolute silence as he bathed and dressed, leaving the hotel after settling his account. Ashe stepped outside, he was greeted by the morning sun glimmering down on Tokyo. Fuuma turned his golden eyes away from the pleasing sight and began walking far away from the hotel, he felt hollow inside and it took all his willpower to keep the tears away. As long as I am this dark version of myself, what can hope to do except destroy? Seishirou left me without even a second glance. I suppose...I suppose that if I love someone, they wouldn’t believe me because of what I’m becoming. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Fuuma mused as he let his hurt recede into his psyche, the Fuuma of the Chi no Ryu reasserting himself as a cruel smirk crossed his lips. He summoned his sword and walked into the middle of the road, holding his sword in front of him, its edge facing oncoming traffic. As he saw the cars and buses appear over the horizon, Fuuma let out an angry scream and sliced the automobiles in half, people ding as they exploded in a blaze of fire. Bits and pieces flew at Fuuma, cutting his face, arms and chest, but the golden eyed boy remained unperturbed, he felt that he wouldn’t stop until he cried tears of blood.
***************
Kamui Shirou opened his large violet eyes as he heard distant screams.
“Kamui.” His lover beside him whispered as he stroked the leader of the Ten no Ryu’s black hair.
“Subaru, it’s Fuuma.” Kamui said as he pulled away from Subaru, rising from their bed as the screams continued, another large shriek making itself heard all over Tokyo. Subaru followed suite as the two showered quickly and dressed, joining their teammates in Hinoto’s room.
“What was that?” Sorata asked as he strapped on his rollerblades.
“It’s a different sort of rage that channeled the Chi no Ryu’s power. This is even worse than his usual style.” Hinoto said as she adjusted her robes. “He’s not even shielding himself from the fallout of his actions.” Hinoto continued as she tried to hone in on Fuuma’s destructive path.
“Come on let’s stop him before he kills any more people.” Arashi spoke as she began to head out. The others nodded and followed her lead out of their HQ. Kamui wondered what could possibly be happening to Fuuma to act like this. Did he somehow find out about me and Subaru? No, he couldn’t have. Kamui mused as they traveled to Fuuma’s location which was somewhere in downtown Tokyo. Kamui held the other back and entered Fuuma’s kekkai, determined to stop his friend’s latest slayings.
“Why does he always do this?” Yuzuriha asked as she petted her dog beside her.
“Because our leader is stubborn. We should be on the lookout for his associates little one.” Seiichirou said with a gentle smile. A black ball of energy tinged with blood red hurtled towards the group, Seiichirou quickly raising his kekkai as they confronted their enemy.
“Subaru. Don’t worry about your little leader. He’ll be dead soon enough when I feed you to my tree.” Seishirou said with a laugh as he prepared another energy ball in his hands. Subaru glared at him and prepared his ofuda wards.
“I’ll handle him. You guys go.” Subrau said as he flew to meet Seishirou, light encompassing the two fighters as they locked in hand to hand combat. The telltale dance of ribbons trapped one of Seichirou’s hands and he was hurled bodily into the air, the ribbons slicing at his arm, drawing blood. Seichirou surrounded himself in a tornado of wind and shot back at his enemy, Nataku. Nataku was blown off the roof that he had flung Seichirou to and the wind ryu went after the android. Karen went to Seichirou’s aid, knowing that Yuuto would be on Nataku’s side if they wished to try to overpower Seichirou. She cared for the gentle man and wasn’t about to see him die at the Chi no Ryus hands.
“We’d better go. I see Satsuki’s wires coming for us. I’ll protect you of course.” Sorata said with a wink as Arashi summoned her sword and the two took to the sky, dodging Satsuki’s onslaught with Beast. Yuzuriha soon found her own partner as Kusanagi came after her.
Kamui found Fuuma sitting in the middle of the road, cuts decorating his body as he held a little girl in his arms. He closed her eyes with his hand and smiled as he hugged the girl closer to him.
“Fuuma?” Kamui asked as he approached Fuuma. Golden eyes looked up at Kamui and they held pain beyond anything that Kamui had ever seen in either of the two Fuumas that he had come to know.
“She Wished it. She didn’t want to keep living here,” Fuuma said as he lay the girl gently on the ground, smoothing her dark brown hair. Fuuma pulled his sword from the ground. “Let us begin.” Fuuma said. Kamui looked hesitant as he summoned his own sword. “If you kill me now, the girl will live again. Is that enough incentive Ten no Ryu?” Fuuma asked as he attacked Kamui, their swords ringing as they struck. They drew back and Fuuma aimed for Kamui’s heart, Kamui blocked the parry with one of his won, his violet eyes in pain for having to fight his best friend. Fuuma’s sword disappeared as he bound to the top of a building, taunting Kamui to follow him. Kamui followed and found himself caught in a head lock as Fuuma appeared out of the side of the building. Kamui’s sword clattered down to the ground below and Fuuma buried his nose in the nape of Kamui’s neck.
“Fuuma.” Kamui whispered as he caught two golden eyes peering at him, half in madness and the other in another emotion that resembled love.
“It’s okay Kamui. You’re Wishing again. Hmm...you smell like Subaru. It is for the best.” Fuuma whispered as he smiled at Kamui. He let go of Kamui who freefell back to the ground, landing safely in Subaru’s hands. It was then that he noticed that Fuuma’s kekkai had dissolved and that the other Chi no Ryus were gone.
“Are you okay Kam-chan? This is the first time when you haven’t sustained as many injuries as you usually do when you fight Fuuma.” Subaru asked. Kamui smiled and picked up his sword, the sword glittering as it disappeared.
“Would you believe me if I said that Fuuma’s heart or rather, lack of a heart wasn’t in this fight? He looked preoccupied with something else, other than the urge to kill. Maybe there’s hope yet. Maybe I won’t have to lose him.” Kamui replied as he got to his feet. Subaru nodded. It was then that Kamui noticed sprays of blood on Subaru’s robes. “What happened?” he asked.
“It’s Seishirou’s blood. He was careless today. I’ve never gotten that close to harm him the way I did today. I would be worried I suppose, but killing Seishirou has been high on my list of priorities.” Subaru said as he grimaced when Kamui limped a bit.
“We should get out of here. Only half the damage to this area remained after Fuuma dissolved his own kekkai.” Karen said as she pointed in the direction of the local police coming to the area.
“That little girl, she’ll still be dead.” Kamui whispered as the Ten no Ryus made their exit.
“What little girl?” Yuzuriha asked.
“Fuuma said that she Wished to leave Tokyo. He has the oddest ways of granting Wishes.” Kamui replied as his head rested on Subaru’s shoulder.
“That is the power of the Chi no Ryu. Something great must be lost in order for your truest wish to be granted. Poor kid.” Sorata said as the Ten no Ryu vanished from sight.
************
The Chi no Ryus returned back to their base at in silence, some not wanting to comment on their leader’s injuries. Fuuma met with Kanoe’s cold gaze as they walked in.
“You finally return. Why didn’t return yesterday night? Why are you cut up like that?” Kanoe asked as she stood at Fuuma’s side, the other Chi no Ryus leaving them to their privacy.
“It’s none of your business. I’m do what I feel like. As long as wreck havoc, I am fulfilling my destiny.” Fuuma bit back as he brushed past Kanoe and disappeared into the dark recesses of their.
“Fuuma.” Kanoe called as the golden eyed boy disappeared from sight. Kanoe sighed and retired to her chambers. Sister, must it always be like this? Hinoto and I should not have been brought into such an unpleasant affair. But it has been foreordained. Only these fighters can change their destiny if they are strong enough, if they Wish it to be so.
Fuuma made a beeline for Kakyou’s room and found the white haired man still asleep. Fuuma settled at Kakyou’s side and pressed a kiss to Kakyou’s forehead. Kakyou’s eyes opened and he smiled.
“I thought you had forgotten me.” Kakyou said as he smiled at the boy at his bedside. Fuuma shook his head.
“Never. Are...are you doing okay?” Fuuma asked.
“Yes. But you smell of blood. Are you injured?” Kakyou asked as he held Fuuma’s hands in his.
“Yes. It’s best that I go and tend to my injuries.” Fuuma said as he rose from the bed and departed from the room. Nataku stood outside the door of Kakyou’s room and when Fuuma walked out, it silently fell into step beside Fuuma.
“I would ask about your mood and injuries but I can sense that my inquires would further upset you.” Nataku said as Fuuma reached his room.
“You could say so. I thank you for leaving me in peace.” Fuuma replied as he opened the door to his room.
“The first aid kit is on your bed. Call me if you need me.” Nataku spoke as he held Fuuma’s hand in his, his cool lips touching Fuuma’s heated skin. Fuuma nodded and closed his room door. He undressed and started cleaning his wounds, wincing now and then as the alcohol stung his cuts. He felt tears splash on his hand and he dripped the kit on the floor. He lay naked on his red silk sheets, sobbing quietly. It hurts too much...the way he rejected me...the way he used me. Fuuma’s body racked with sobs, his eyes shut tightly, his body shivering from the cold draught that seemed to invade his room. He summoned his sword and sat up in his bed, running a hand through his hair.
“I could end this. I could kill myself and let the world live. I could let Kamui be happy,” Fuuma said through his tears as he rested the swords hilt on his bed and leaned his body over so that the sword’s tip rested against his chest, under which lay his heart. “All I have to let go. Then I won’t be evil...” He whispered as he shut his eyes. The door to his room swung open and Nataku’s ribbon pulled Fuuma’s sword away from his as the dark haired youth leaned forward.
“Fuuma!” Nataku called as the sword vanished and he caught Fuuma’s falling body in his arms. Nataku felt alarmed as the man he believed to be strong and untouchable crumbled in his arms and cried. I keep forgetting that you are still young. You are being forced to grow up too quickly. I’m sorry Fuuma. Nataku pressed his forehead against Fuuma’s, the sakura petals on his head lighting up. He willed for Fuuma to relax, to be calm. “Just stop thinking Fuuma.” He said as he rocked the boy back and forth in his arms. The android felt a hand rest on his shoulder and when he looked up he saw Seishirou staring back at him, his black eyes focused on Fuuma.
“I’ll handle this. Leave and lock the door behind you.” Seishirou said as he carried Fuuma in his arms.
“Seishirou...is all this because of you?” Nataku asked as he frowned. The assassin didn’t reply. “I see.” Nataku said as he left the room and locked it. Seishirou sat back down on the bed, holding Fuuma in his arms. Why were you so reckless today. How could I hurt you with words?” Seishirou mused as he stroked Fuuma’s hair, hoping that the boy would open his eyes. He knew how. He thought back to the year that he spent with Subaru. Words could more than hurt, they could kill, with even more finality than a weapon. Fuuma’s eyes opened slowly.
“Nataku.” He whispered as he tried to sit up.
“I sent him away.” A husky voice replied. Fuuma froze as he opened his eyes fully. He was in the arms of the Sakurazuka. Hurt and pain filled Fuuma’s eyes and he removed himself from Seishirou’s arms. He pulled some of his red silk sheets against him, their cool feel contrasting with his warm body.
“Haven’t you done enough?” Fuuma asked coldly as faced away from Seishirou, not wanting to see the assassin’s face. Seishirou bit his lip.
“I had to leave Fuuma. We couldn’t...” Seishirou said as he clenched his fingers tightly.
“Don’t even bother Seishirou. You made it clear what our night together meant.” Fuuma replied harshly. Seishirou winced at Fuuma’s tone.
“You don’t understand why I said what I did.” Seishirou replied as he strode over to Fuuma’s side of the bed and knelt at his feet, his hand titling Fuuma’s tear streaked face up. Fuuma was forced to look at Seishirou and noticed that the assassin was still dressed in a pair of black slacks and a blue shirt. Drops of blood decorated the shirt and pants.
“Because you still love Subaru?” Fuuma asked he noticed the small cuts along Seishirou’s neck and on his cheek.
“I couldn’t love Subaru. In my clan of assassin’s my mother told me that the only thing that could kill me would not be another assassin but love. I came close to loving Subaru, but as you can see, I put an end to that when I killed his sister.” Seishirou said as he remembered the events from years long past.
“Why are you telling me all this?” Fuuma asked as his expression softened a bit.
“Because I found myself at that threshold last night Fuuma. And this time, there is nothing I can do to distance myself from you. For the first time, I was accepted for who and what I am. You didn’t judge my life as an assassin, it didn’t bother you. It *hurt* me when I lied yesterday, and I can assure you, I have never felt that kind of emotional pain before. But you...you are still holding on to who you are despite everything that the power within you is urging you to do. That’s why you didn’t shield yourself today. You wanted to feel that pain. And I hated that I was responsible for that. That’s why Subaru landed a lot more hits that I ever let him do in any fight.” Seishirou spoke earnestly as Fuuma sighed.
“I wanted to die Seishirou. I was tired. I realized that it’s not worth it being me. Existing in a wall of pain and torture, with the world against me...it’s not worth it.” Fuuma replied. Seishirou cupped his hand under Fuuma’s chin as he sat next to Fuuma.
“It doesn’t matter Fuuma. You’re worth everything to me. I love you.” Seishirou whispered as his dark eyes caught Fuuma’s golden gaze. Fuuma’s eyes widened.
“Honto desu ne?” Fuuma replied.
“Honto.” Seishirou replied as he kissed Fuuma, wrapping his arms around the bronze form of his lover.
“Gods...” Fuuma whispered as he felt his tears loosened from him again, soaking his cheeks as Seishirou’s mouth devoured his. Seishirou pushed Fuuma against the bed, his hands reaching to unbutton his shirt as he kissed Fuuma deeply, their tongues locked in a heated battle. Fuuma felt Seishirou settle over him, his eyes opened as he smiled, breaking their hungry kiss. His arms went up to Seishirou’s broad shoulders and he slid the shirt off his lover’s body, his hands lost in Seishirou’s hair. Seishirou removed his trousers and boxers and tossed them to the floor. Their naked bodies were pressed together. Pale and bronze limbs intermingled as Seishirou captured Fuuma’s lips again. His arms held Fuuma’s thighs captive and he bit Fuuma’s tongue, drawing blood. Fuuma moaned softly, pushing against Seishirou until they were sitting upright in his bed. Fuuma smiled as his lips traced their way to Seishirou’s cheek were the cut that Seishirou received from battle was flushed red. He licked the wound and kissed Seishirou again before nibbling at his lover’s neck, kissing all the injuries that he had received in battle from Subaru.
“Fuuma.” Seishirou moaned as his golden eyed lover pushed Seishirou down into the bed, his lips seizing Seishirou’s manhood in one swallow. Seishirou moaned as Fuuma’s mouth milked him slowly, Seishirou pulling away as he felt his climax reaching. Fuuma lay against Seishirou, his own arousal trapped between their heated bodies as Seishirou kissed him roughly.
“Will you take me?” Fuuma asked his hands pumped Seishirou with well rhythmed strokes.
“Oh yes.” Seishirou hissed as he flipped Fuuma onto his stomach. Fuuma rose, resting on his hands and knees. He felt Seishirou’s steely arousal brush against his opening and he shivered in excitement at what was to come.
“Do it now.” Fuuma whispered as Seishirou’s hand came around his waist and stroked his neglected member.
“I need to stretch you first.” Seishirou replied as he rocked his hips into Fuuma’s.
“It doesn’t matter Sei-kun.” Fuuma replied as he rubbed himself into Seishirou’s hand.
“It will hurt.” Seishirou said seriously for a moment.
“That’s what I want.” Fuuma replied, his eyes hazy. Seishirou nodded and slowly slid into Fuuma. The boy was wonderfully tight and hot around him. Seishirou moaned as he kissed the back of Fuuma’s neck, his hand still stroking Fuuma’s length. Fuuma moaned a keening cry as Seishirou began to move within him, their bodies rocking to a beat that drummed throughout their bodies.
“I...love...you.” Seishirou whimpered heatedly as he thrust into Fuuma’s body, each stroke harder than the last, Fuuma’s cries reporting back to his ears.
“Sei...” Fuuma moaned as he felt Seishirou come within him, his essence flooding Fuuma’s body, warm and welcome. Fuuma came a moment later, Seishirou’s hand milking him. Seishirou brought his hand to his lips and tasted Fuuma on his hand.
“You taste wonderful.” Seishirou whispered as the two crumpled in a tired heap on Fuuma’s bed. Fuuma turned so that he could see Seishirou’s face, still keeping his length trapped within his body. Blood slowly dripped down his thighs as he pulled Seishirou closer.
“I love you too.” Fuuma said as he felt Seishirou’s length jump within him. Seishirou caught sight of the blood dripping down Fuuma’s thighs.
“I hurt you Fuu-chan.” Seishirou said as he pulled out of Fuuma.
“It doesn’t matter. You never meant to and I didn’t want to be stretched.” Fuuma replied as he looked into Seishirou’s eyes. Seishirou kissed Fuuma, nursing the lips that he had bruised and got off the bd. He went into the small bathroom that was adjoined to Fuuma’s room and got a warm cloth. He came back to the bed and cleaned Fuuma thoroughly. He then cleaned himself and took the dirty sheets with him. He threw them in a hamper and came back to the bed and settled beside his lover, their bodies spooned together as Fuuma covered them both. Fuuma fell asleep as Seishirou’s warm arms held him safe. This time, he had no fear that when he awoke the next morning, Seishirou would still be there. As Fuuma slept, Seishirou traced his finders down Fuuma’s naked body under the covers.
“I love you.” Whispered Seishirou’s deep voice as he kissed Fuuma’s ear and settled into sleep, his lover’s scent comforting him.
