Jyou opened his eyes slowly as he yawned. He felt a warm presence on his back and he was almost startled but relaxed as he inclined his head slightly. His gaze caught blonde locks and its owner wrapped in sleep, his tanned arms locked firmly around Jyou’s pale waist. Jyou smiled and rested his head back on his pillow. He reached over to his night stand and brought his alarm clock up to his face.

“11:21am.” Jyou muttered as he put the clock back down.

“Hmm…good morning Jyou-chan.” Yamato whispered as he opened his azure blue eyes, fixing Jyou with a sleepy smile. Jyou smiled. Yamato leaned in to give Jyou a morning kiss as a beeper went off somewhere in Jyou’s apartment.

“Yama-chan?” Jyou asked as Yamato kissed him, rubbing lightly against Jyou.

“Yes love?” Yamato asked as he pulled away from Jyou.

“I think that’s your beeper.” Jyou spoke sheepishly. “Mine has a much different ring.” Jyou supplied as Yamato became more animated.

“K’uso!” Yamato swore as he hopped out of bed and dashed to the living room where he had left his slacks. Jyou sighed. Fumbling at his bed side, he pulled out another pair of glasses and began to pick up the clothes that lay scattered on his bedroom floor. After doing that he headed to the bathroom and took off his glasses. He then proceeded to brush his teeth, half hearing Yamato come into the bathroom. Jyou handed Yamato an extra toothbrush from his cabinet and Yamato smiled. Old reliable Jyou… thought crossed Yamato’s mind as he and Jyou finished brushing but he pushed it away.

“What’s wrong Yama?” Jyou asked as he rinsed off his toothbrush and placed it back in its holder. Yamato tucked a tendril of hair away from Jyou’s face and smiled.

“I was wondering what possessed me to leap from a warm bed next to my hot lover for some stupid page from my manager.” Yamato replied with a grin as he pulled Jyou into the bathtub.

“But it could have been important. So I’m not offended.” Jyou replied as he turned on the taps, warm water raining down on them. Jyou sighed as the warm water ran down his body, brushing over him.

“Jyou, I love you, you know?” Yamato spoke as he wrapped his arms around Jyou’s slim waist. Jyou blushed as Yamato reached for the bar of soap behind Jyou’s head and began to lather his lover up.

“I know. And I love you too.” Jyou spoke as his eyes met Yamato’s. The blond smiled softly as he captured Jyou’s lips, his tongue tasting his lover again, their night of passion awakening within them again. Jyou moaned softly as Yamato’s hands slid down his back, cupping his bum with callous gentle hands.

“Jyou.” Yamato spoke, his voice reverberating off the shower tiles, sounding louder through the pouring water.

“Yamato.” Jyou barely managed to whisper as he felt his body grown warm. Yamato lifting Jyou up and rested his back against the bathroom wall, blue hair dripping with water as Yamato entered Jyou. Both their voices dropped to hushed whispers as they moved together, the water raining down on them; the water the only witness to their love. Yamato came with a scream, muffling his cry as he bit Jyou’s neck, the dark haired youth crying out his pleasure as he came as well, the water washing away his essence as he drowned in the feeling of having Yamato buried deep within him. With a sigh Yamato pulled out of Jyou, both men laughing as they continued their bath, kisses passing between them as they enjoyed one another’s presence.

Jyou’s POV

I opened my eyes as what had transpired that weekend oh so many years ago left my memory. Two years have past since that day. I still love Yamato, and he still loves me… After that day, he went away, back to his career. The beeper message was indeed an important one. Yamato’s manager had gotten Yamato’s latest songs and had wanted Yamato to see if there was anything he wanted to change. Yamato changed a lot of the songs on his album. I remember the night it was released, roughly three months after we began our relationship. Yamato sounded so happy in his songs and he said it was all because of me. It was very successful. That album served to cement Yamato and his band the Buki as idols. Because of all his worldwide touring dates, Yamato and I barely see each other. I know that singing is his greatest love in life…sometimes I feel that he doesn’t have time for me. The public certainly doesn’t know about our relationship...just our group of digidestined friends. Sometimes…all my loneliness sets in and I cry myself to sleep.

End POV

3rd POV

Koushiro watched Jyou as the blue haired man drank a cup of hot chocolate, his tired blue eyes making an effort to appear cheerful for Koushiro.

“Jyou, the others and I are worried about you.” Koushiro spoke as Jyou placed his cup down on the table. Jyou had reluctantly agreed to meet Koushiro at the small diner near their old high school since he had begun missing dinner dates and get togethers with his fellow digidestined.

“I know Kou-kun. I don’t mean to worry anyone.” Jyou replied softly, tucking strands of blue hair behind his ear. Koushiro frowned. Jyou was one of his closest friends and he hated to see Jyou hurting like this…hurting because of Yamato.

“Jyou, I know you love Yamato. But if he can’t let anyone except us know about your relationship, that isn’t really love.” Koushiro spoke softly. Jyou shook his head, wiping tears from his eyes.

“I know that Kou-kun. I want to leave him…I want to hate him for rarely calling. I’ve only seen him 6 times since we first began our relationship and it tears me up inside. He said that he loves me Koushiro. He may be the only one who does.” Jyou whispered brokenly as he clenched his fists. “If Yamato hadn’t come along, I would have been lonely for the rest of my life.” Jyou spoke as he brushed his tears away.

“Jyou, you are a strong man. I know you can get through this. Just try and forget about Yamato. Why don’t you go out with me and some of the others tonight? It might help get your mind off Yamato. I’ve seen situations like these destroy people Jyou-kun, and I don’t want it to happen to you.” Koushiro spoke seriously, resting his hand on Jyou’s. Jyou nodded.

“I’ll try Koushiro.” Jyou said with a small smile.

“Good! Now, let’s drop by the mall. Mimi wanted me to get a couple of things.” Koushiro spoke as the two friends paid for their drinks.

“The mall? I should have *known* you had an ulterior motive other than getting me to talk.” Jyou said with a groan. Koushiro smiled. You may well be on your way to recovery my friend…I am glad.

“Hey, she has my brand new laptop hostage. You know how she hates those things.” Koushiro shot back. Jyou laughed as they left the diner. The day was sunny and bright and Jyou felt his soul slowly breaking its shackles. It’s okay if you can’t love me Yamato. I’ll find someone else who does.

“Come on Jyou, the others are waiting.” Sora spoke as she dragged Jyou towards the door of a night club.

“Sora, I don’t feel comfortable. All these people are looking at me.” Jyou whispered as they entered the club, Sora scanning the crowds for the other digidestined.

“It’s because you’re hot silly. I can’t believe you haven’t gone to a club. Even Koushiro’s been here before.” Sora yelled over the loud music. Jyou avoided the dancing bodies as they crossed the dance floor. Sora and spotted the others sitting at a table and she waved at them.

“Hi everyone.” Jyou spoke as they reached the table. He blushed at the surprised stares that greeted him. Koushiro had his mouth open; Takeru was speechless while Mimi and Hikaru grinned.

“You look so adorable Jyou.” Mimi gushed as he rose from her seat and hugged her friend.

“How can you call my waking wet dream adorable?” Sora fumed as she crossed her arms. Jyou could feel his face burning.

“Well, the black tight leather pants and the sleeveless tight black shirt with uke stylishly written across it plus the black steeled toed boots and the black wrist bracelets not to mention the contacts I had to beg him to wear since he looked so adorable in his glasses were meant to bring out Jyou’s dark side. Don’t forget the little fishnet elbow high gloves.” Sora spoke as she and Jyou sat down.

“Don’t you even dare.” Jyou warned Koushiro whom was about to explode into laughter at Sora’s list.

“But you like it, right Jyou? I mean, after all the shopping Mimi and I did to make you look scandalous.” Sora spoke with a wining smile.

“Because you’re my friends I won’t hide under the table.” Jyou replied as he laughed.

“At least you aren’t brooding about you-know-who.” Hikaru spoke as she adjusted her own short mini skirt.

“True. Well let’s hit the dance floor.” Mimi called as a blazing techno song came on, the floor shaking from the loud music blaring over the speakers.

“I’ll stay here if you don’t mind.” Jyou spoke.

“Okay. We’ll be back soon.” Takeru said as the group made its way onto the dance floor. Jyou sighed. What possessed me to let Mimi and Sora dress me up?!

“Hey there sexy.” a male voice drawled as someone slid into the vacant seat next to Jyou.

“Taichi?” Jyou asked in surprised as he recognized the old digidestined leader. Taichi smiled broadly.

“I know; it’s been a while. I’ve heard things about you while I was away. Are you doing okay?” Taichi asked concern in his rich brown eyes. Jyou blushed.

“I’m okay. The others dressed me up and brought me here for a night of fun.” Jyou spoke as he gazed down at his leather clad legs.

“I just ran into them. They said I would find you here. Come on, let’s dance.” Taichi replied as he led Jyou down to the dance floor. Jyou’s eyes rovered over Taichi’s form and some part of him was impressed. Taichi had grown over the past few years. He played on Japan’s soccer team and was well liked and respected. Taichi was dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans that molded to his muscular legs and a tight white shirt with a superman symbol on it. His goggles were still in his wild brown hair and his brown eyes flashed warmly.

“You look great.” Jyou spoke as he racked his brain for something to say.

“Shh…don’t talk, just move.” Taichi urged as a song came on. The music moved through them as they danced. Jyou enfolded himself within Taichi’s arms, their bodies flushed against one another as they moved to the fast paced music.

“I might actually get to like this.” Jyou spoke as his arms rested on Taichi’s neck. Taichi smiled, mischief sparkling in those brown eyes.

“I’m glad. You look so edible. I can’t believe that you made it into the club without people groping at you.” Taichi replied as his hands resting on Jyou’s swiveling hips. Jyou blushed, blue hair spilling across his spectacled free face.

“They tried but I stuck really close to Sora. I can’t believe that I’m wearing an uke shirt.” Jyou replied with a small laugh as they slowed in their movements as a slow song came on.

“Well, are you?” Taichi asked as one of his hands rested on the back of Jyou’s neck. Jyou could read the desire laced in Taichi’s voice and eyes. Would it hurt? To want someone else?

“Hmm…it all depends.” Jyou replied, his voice sounding deeper than he intended. Taichi smiled.

“Depends on what?” Taichi asked, his lips dangerously close to Jyou’s.

“On…how much I like you.” Jyou whispered as he closed the distance between them, his lips meeting Taichi’s in a swift movement. Taichi kissed Jyou, his tongue tasting the quiet boy in his arms, his hands tangling in those silky blue locks. Jyou moaned at the back of his throat at the sensation of warmth that rippled through him. Taichi’s hands wandered lower, his body pressed firmly against Jyou’s. Jyou pulled away from Taichi, a sad smile on his lips.It was a great kiss Taichi, but I still love Yamato.

“You taste wonderful. I can’t believe that Yamato doesn’t make an effort to see you everyday. I certainly would.” Taichi spoke.

“I should. But I never realized just how deeply I love Jyou, how much I was willing to sacrifice for him to love only me.” Another voice spoke. Jyou looked up and saw Yamato standing, a small hush coming over the dancing crowd as they recognized the soccer star and the rock idol staring each other down.

“Hey Yamato.” Taichi spoke with a wave, his arm still around Jyou’s waist. Yamato nodded.

“Yama?” Jyou spoke, forcing down the tremble in his voice. I’ve lost count of the last time I heard to speak to me.

“Jyou, I’m sorry. I’ve been such a fool, thinking that if I was never there that you could still love me.” Yamato spoke.

“I won’t let you hurt me again Yamato. Are you so ashamed of being seen with me in public?” Jyou spoke as a tremor slowly worked its way into his voice. Azure blue eyes looked downward and then to the crowd that had stopped its maddening dance to tune into the conversation in progress.

“I’ve been locked up within myself for so long Jyou. Because of you I’ve managed to dig my way out of that hole. I don’t care if I lose everything if my fans know that I’m gay. Nothing is worth losing your love. Forgive me. Yamato spoke as he clasped Jyou’s hand in his, kneeling down before his blue haired love. Taichi smiled and withdrew his arm from Jyou’s waist.

“Give him a chance Jyou. You’re probably the only one who understands him.” Taichi whispered as he walked into the crowd.

“Yama, I still love you.” Jyou spoke as tears choked his voice. Yamato stood, tears straining his own cheeks.

“Gods, I love you too.” Yamato whispered as he claimed Jyou’s lips in a deep kiss. The crowd cheered all around them and the music came back on, the crowd alive once again.

Sora, Mimi, Takeru, Hikaru, Koushiro and Taichi crowded around the reunited couple.

“Glad you came to your senses Ishida.” Taichi spoke with a grin as he pecked Jyou on his cheek. Jyou blushed.

“Hey, that’s my boyfriend you’re undressing with you eyes Taichi.” Yamato spoke back hotly as he wrapped his arms around Jyou.

“When did you get back from Belgium Tai-kun?” Hikaru asked as Taichi laughed.

“I got back a few hours ago. Koushiro sent my e-mail a few days ago saying that you guys were going to cheer Jyou up since Yamato was being a jerk. So I called Yamato and asked him why Jyou needed cheering up. As you can see, he got his ass here as soon as he could.” Taichi replied.

“Only goodness knows what Taichi said since he couldn’t beat up Yamato.” Koushiro spoke dryly.

“He told me that if I let Jyou get hurt, he would never forgive me. I can never forgive myself for what I’ve put Jyou through. And if my fans don’t appreciate me for who am I, I don’t care because Jyou is the most important thing to me.” Yamato replied as he smiled warmly.

“Just one question, are you an uke like your shirt says ? ‘Cause if Yamato doesn’t treat you right, I’m willing to explore that with you.” Taichi spoke a bit cheekily as he winked at Jyou.

“Taichi!” the group yelled as they aimed mock glares at Taichi. Jyou blushed not trusting himself to reply at the moment.

Yamato smiled as he danced with Jyou, rejoicing in his heart that he had Jyou back. And this time, he wasn’t planning on letting him go.
