Chapter Two: The Arch of Angelus

Four people stood on a grassy plain together. As soon as they set eyes on one another, they jumped up. A young man pulled out a sword; two women pulled out guns and the last, a young girl just stood and observed the strange people. One of the women put down her gun, the sun shinning off her glasses. She stood next to the man with the sword. The other woman also put away her gun.

"Commander Treize, what is the meaning of this?" the woman with the glasses whispered.

"Lady Une, we will soon find out." Treize replied as he smiled in amusement. In a flash of white light, two beings appeared. One was a boy with moppy brown hair, a pair of cobalt eyes that sent shivers down their spines. He had beautiful white feathery wings that sprouted from his back and he was dressed in ancient looking clothes. Beside him was an even stranger sight. It had a woman’s form and was clad in green silk, large brilliant white wings sprouting from her back. It had the impression of eyes, ears and a mouth and yet, it was silent, almost a grieving look on her face.

"Who are you all? I am Relena Peacecraft." Relena said with a polite curtsey to the group of strangers.

"I am Treize Khushrenada, leader of the Specials. And this is the lovely Lady Une, my second in command." Treize said as he drew a rose from his vest. The green angel laughed.

"Well, I’m Sally Po, a doctor among the Alliance." Sally said with a smile in her eyes.

"And I, am Heero Yuy, a gundam pilot from the L1 colony. As we stand, you and I are enemies, but we were all once comrades before, and we shall be again." Heero said as his monotone struck the strangers. Before any of them had time to react, the green being circled all of them, pressing a cold finger to each of the people’s temples. Bursts of hot white light shot from each one’s shoulders, feathery wings like Heero’s taking shape, and clothes altered once again.

"Levis, I feel a strange force. I fear, he has awakened all his generals at his disposal." The being said as she hovered next to Heero.

"Nataku, are you sure?" Levis asked as cobalt eyes hardened.

"Hai. There is no mistaken the exuberant energy that the diabolus dispels." Nataku said with some venom in her voice. Levis looked at the four people who admired one another’s plumage. Sally had taken to the sky.

"Now I remember." She said as she did a nosedive to the ground and pulled up at the last moment.

"Then state your names." Levis said as he folded his arms.

"I am Garrire Angelus, angel of care and supervision." Sally said as she touched lightly on the Earth, giving a small bow to their apparent leader.

"And I am Confusus Angelus, angel of confusion." Treize said with a grin, and he too bowed. He could understand why he had been given that name.

"I am Conscientia Angelus, angel of conscience." Lady Une said with a curtsey. Sally sniffed.

"I am Puritas-Pac Angelus, angel of purity and peace." Relena said with a girlish curtsey, a blush reaching her cheeks. Levis’s smile softened.

"I am Nataku, entity of justice." Nataku said as she hovered in the air.

"We have been reborn for one simple reason: To destroy Shingami and his generals." Levis said. All four nodded. Nataku sensed something akin to pain and panic and in the air.

"Please excuse me, I have to attend to important business Levis-sama." Nataku said with a quick bow. As she turned around, she disappeared.

"Wait, do we know what Shingami and his crew where reborn as?" Sally asked as she perched on a tree, seriously considering the shirt that she wore.

"We were all reborn into our former bodies, except for the differences in age. I have only been reborn a few hours ago, but I’m sure that Consci-san can find us some information and fast. Who knows how many levels of hell those daemons are raising." Levis replied.

"Levis-sama, I believe that Nataku isn’t telling us something." Conscientia said as she crossed her arms.

"What are you implying? Nataku has been with us since our existence." Levis said as he quirked an eyebrow.

"I believe that Conscientia is on to something. Nataku is justice. We could be going about our mission a bit to hastily." Confusus said with a tiny frown. Levis sighed. This was one of the many reasons that Confusus was very hard to understand.

"Let us not jump to conclusions. We can wait for her return." Pac suggested.

 "Then, we shall wait. I’ll give you all some time to adjust. I’m heading to the L2 colony. That was were the force erupted." Levis said as a white glow surrounded his wings and they disappeared. He was dressed in blue spandex shorts and a green tank top. He left the group silently, just like his name.

Takeo – Let me make this painless. Once again, I have murdered both the languages of Latin and Japanese. Please don’t hurt me. My little pixies explained the meaning of their names but I’ll put them down anyway. *grins *
Heero ~ Silentum, Levis. Well, Silentum is Latin for Silence, Levis is Latin for Light. Maybe I should have named Trowa silentum. Oh well *giggle *
Treize ~ Confusus. Latin for confusion. Treize is confusing, plain and simple. One of his memorable quotes. " I want to be a loser too." I’m still puzzling over that little scene and many others.
Une ~ Conscientia. Latin for conscience. Lady Une is always one of the voices that Treize hears in the back of his head, along with Zechs voice. Yes, Treize is very unstable.
Sally ~ Garrire. Latin for care. She’s a doctor by my standards and she’s a darn good one too.
Relena ~ Puritas-Pac. Okay, Puritas is Latin for purity, and Pac is Latin for peace. I liked the two so I joined them together. And Relena IS a pacifist, so it seemed naturally to me.
Nataku ~ Nataku. It’s Nataku people, the goddess, the justice lady!
Angelus – Latin for angel. Enough said.
Diabolus – Latin for devil. She thinks that Duo is a devil *sigh * And he is too. :snicker:
