I bought my new 88 GT in July of 2003. Not a bad deal for a car with 156,000 miles on it. Straight body, and bone stock! I have some new head lights , and it now rides on 17's! Pictures coming soon!!
July 17, 2004 - Put a rebuilt Heavy Duty T5 Tranny in my car. Pictures coming soon!
August, 2005 - A serious ticking results in me parking the car, and yanking the motor out. I find the rear main bearings were showing some serious brass. Time for a rebuild!!
Fast forward to April 2006 - I am in the middle of 331 Stroker build up. I bought an Eagle stroker kit off of eBay. I have my GT40P's outfitted with bigger valves, and a three angle valve job.
I now have some serious money in this car! When I get it back together, I will have converted it to mass air!
October 13, 2006...almost there. Brought the car back out of storage! I have the 331 short block built, a new Trick Flow upper and lower intake, 350 horse here we come!
October 15, 2008...2 years later...I have been going to school for the last 2 years. Got married in 2007, my second son, Jaxson Aric was born in August 2008....yes my cars have been sitting for way too long. Having the car sitting at my house has generated some interest and I have decided to part ways with my beloved 1988 GT. It has sat too long and I never should have bought. I have sold it as a $500 roller and I am keeping everything for my 1988 LX Coupe. When I say I kept everything, I mean almost everything I need to complete my swap. Look for a new update sometime in the near future!
