| James was brought up in an abusive home. His father hurt him, his mother hurt him, everyone hurt him. Then James found his new best friend, "The Darkness". James became obsessed with his friend, his "Brother" as he called "The Darkness". He dressed in black, never went outside, and shunned anything that led to happiness. Then James' house burned down with his mother and father inside. The police ruled it an accident, James smiled. Fast forward a few years and James became a professinal wrestler in the HWA. He won the IC belt, and was on his way to the Heavyweight belt when the voices started. James had MPD, or Multiple Personality Disorder. James was befriended by Jon Apsey who manipulated these personalities. James then dropped out of sight. Awhile later Nightbane was found, but he was different, he was Larry Thompson, a maniaical ego maniac. Again Nightbane left, only to resurface in the AWA. |
| James has medium-length jet black hair that always seems to be wet and usually hangs over his face just barely hiding his pale face. His skin(what little can be seen) is extremly pale with almost black areas around his eyes(he attributes this to his brother and friend, "The Darkness") He always wears a black trenchcoat with a black T-shirt. Sometimes the shirt reads "Hello Darkness my old friend". When he takes off his trenchcoat his pale, muscular arms almost take attention away from the rest of his black outfit. Of course, his pants are black, but it's almost a reddish-black when it hits the light the right way, and his boots are the same. |
