| Born in Lakewood, New Jersey, he was highly competitive with other kids both his age and older. He holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Karate, a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a Black Belt in Judo. In high school he played football, as quarterback, and excelled in wrestling, going undefeated all four years. Zapf went on to have an impressive college wrestling career, and decided to pursue his love of pro wrestling by training with his good friend Hound. After receiving that training, he traveled to Japan where he learned the true sport aspect of wrestling. Upon his return, he joined a fed called the bWo with his good friends Iceberg, Pest, and Joe LaBracio. They were known as the Best, and they ran over and through any foe that got in their way. Zapf then went on to have a decent run as a singles and a tag competitor, which he hopes to continue in the AWA. |
| Zapf is tall, lean and has a slender but muscular build. He wears long, black tights with lightning bolt engulfed icicles going down the sides of them. He wears black boots with dark blue trim. The lightning bolts on the pants are silver, and the icicles are ice blue with silver and white specks. He has dirty blonde, short hair with a short chin gotee. Zapf also has a tattoo on his left shoulder of a blue sun that looks like a fire ball burning through his skin. |
